Someone knocked on her door suddenly.

“What is it?” It was a servant that was standing outside her door.

“Madam had me come and get you.”

Ning Zhi nodded. She, too, needed to talk to Mother Lin.

Lin Tiantian was there as well, looking like she couldn’t wait to see the drama unfold.

Mother Lin greeted the guest. “Yu Jia, I already have someone go get Xiao Zhi. She will be down shortly. Have a seat.”

“Oh, it’s quite fine.” Yu Jia repeatedly wiped the sweat on his forehead. His chubby body took over most of the couch.

“You’ve mentioned before that you would like to marry Xiao Zhi, and you are willing to give half of your company’s stocks as bride money, right?” asked Mother Lin. “Is your family okay with that?”

“My mom had already given me half of the company stocks. As long as Xiao Zhi is willing to marry me, I will give them all to her.” Shyness could be seen on Yu Jia’s chubby face.

“Aunty knows that you have real feelings for Xiao Zhi. I am supportive of the two of you getting married,” said Mother Lin with a smile.

Next to them, Lin Tiantian chimed in as well, “I am supportive of it as her cousin as well.”

Ning Zhi deserved someone like this.

Yu Jia was very emotional when he heard that both of them were supportive of him. “I will be nice to Xiao Zhi in the future.”

Yu Jia looked worried. “I can take Xiao Zhi to the hospital.”

Lin Tiantian sat to one side. Looking at Ning Zhi, Lin Tiantian’s eyes darkened some. Ning Zhi had a sense of beauty even when she was ill. It made one’s heart ache, wanting to dote on her.

No wonder she was able to catch Young Master Lu Jue’s attention.

Lin Tiantian harrumphed and waited for the drama to unfold.

“Xiao Zhi, why don’t you have Yu Jia take you to the hospital?” said Mother Lin. “He came over today to talk about your marriage.”

“I have always been friends with Mrs. Yu. She is a nice lady, and you will get along with her well. Yu Jia likes you as well and will be very nice to you in the future. He is also an honest boy. You won’t need to worry that he will have affairs in the future.”

Mother Lin smiled and said, “You will live a happy life with him.”

Ning Zhi’s lips tightened a little. “If you think he’s such a great catch, why don’t you marry him instead?”
