The name grabbed Liu Zhen’s attention and his eyes revealed traces of self-mocking. He looked at Bai Chuwei and his expressions changed once again!

His nose soured and in an instant, his knees went soft. He knelt before her and said out loud in a repenting tone, “Dear ancestor, I know my mistake now. I was the one who was nearsighted and offended the ancestor! I’m the crazy one!”

Liu Zhen was honestly frightened. Ever since he returned from Duan Family’s residence yesterday, he kept dreaming of his teacher who had passed away numerous years ago. In the dreams, he had been pressed on the ground and was chided by his teacher constantly.

He had forced himself to stay awake in the morning but unexpectedly, he fell asleep due to exhaustion in the afternoon and his teacher visited him once again in his dreams.

His teacher was very disappointed with him and said that he was stubborn and inflexible. In addition, he wanted to take him along so as to not offend Bai Chuwei![1]

Beads of cold sweat trickled down his neck as Liu Zhen looked at Bai Chuwei in fear and awe.

If… it weren’t for that basin of water, he might have really died.

Liu Zhen’s mind was filled with Bai Chuwei’s previous words. ‘Don’t worry. I’ll let him look for you tonight.’

His teacher really came that night looking for him!

Liu Zhen suddenly had a feeling that he barely escaped death, and hence his gaze towards Bai Chuwei turned respectful.

Everyone was dumbfounded. Did Liu Zhen go crazy? Water had been thrown on him and instead of scolding the perpetrator, he was kneeling on the ground and calling her ancestor?

Bai Chuwei flipped her hair and asked him lazily. “You’re awake, finally? If yes, then hurry and tell me if you are willing to sell the medicinal ingredient or not.”

Liu Zhen did not care about his drenched clothes and looked at Deng Man’s father. “What’s the problem?”

Deng Man hastily said, “Grandpa Liu, this Bai Chuwei insists on buying Four Seasons Spring and is demanding an exorbitant amount of ten kilograms of the same!”

Her father looked at Liu Zhen who was kneeling in front of Bai Chuwei and loud drums started beating in his heart. “Teacher, are we to sell the medicinal ingredient?”

Liu Zhen stood up and angrily yelled at Deng Man’s father, with his spittle splashing all over the man’s face. “Sell? What the hell! Who dares to sell it?”

Before Deng Man could gloat after listening to these words, Liu Zhen waved his hand and said to Bai Chuwei with a flattering smile, “How can I possibly dare to sell things that ancestor wants? How much do you need? I’ll give you as much as you require.”
