“You don’t have to look at me that way. I’m just bringing you back as an apology. Don’t worry. Even if you die, I’ll bring your corpse back with me.” Jiang Chen’s bloodshot eyes narrowed as he clenched his fists. 

‘What gives her the right to look at me this way?’

“You’re bringing me back as an apology? I really don’t understand you, Jiang Chen. What are you doing? I’ve already hidden so far away from you. I’m not an eyesore to you. Su Zhi’en felt that Jiang Chen’s words were a joke, but Su Zhi’en had a point. Five years ago, Jiang Chen had caused so much trouble just to be with Tong Jingxian. All of that had nothing to do with Su Zhi’en.

Su Zhi’en clenched her fists till they turned pale. Jiang Chen was as sharp and cruel as he once was, making it hard for people to breathe. Su Zhi’en did not speak anymore. 

‘It has been five years. Why am I expecting him to say anything decent? I must be the one going crazy.’

Su Zhi’en was then brought into the boat without any struggle. It turned out that this was their means of transport. However, Su Zhi’en did not care about any of this. She just lay on the bed emotionlessly.

“Young Master Jiang, the wind and waves are very strong. You’re in danger—”

“If you don’t shut up, I’ll show you what true danger is!”

“Who is it?” Jiang Wei, who controlled a drone by the fence, heard someone calling out to him. He frowned and turned around to look. His expressionless face was a little unhappy because someone had interrupted him.

When Su Zhi’en saw Jiang Wei turn around, she vigorously waved her hand. “Over here, Jiang Wei, Mom— Aunt Zhi’en is down here.” She almost said that she was his mother. But she didn’t dare to let him find out. She was afraid to look into Jiang Wei’s eyes. How was she going to tell him?
