She didn’t stop him, leaning further into the sofa, and pulled a throw pillow into her arms.

“Did you delete my photos?” she asked, looking up.

Gu Annan just glanced at her and didn’t speak.

“Did you delete those judgments and comments as well?” she asked deliberately, “Are people not allowed to have freedom of speech anymore?”

His eyes darkened.

“You know, once something’s on the internet, all sorts of things are said, I’m aware of that.”

Gu Annan’s lips thinned for a moment, “Should the Gu Family’s Young Madam be subjected to random judgments and comments? Do you want me to restore all that was deleted and let you have your fill again?”

Lu Wanwan was momentarily stunned. She of course minded, and internally, she greatly appreciated the deletions.

But she merely wanted to show him that she was somewhat strong inside, and that he shouldn’t be upset.

Who knew that would upset him.

Yet, thinking about it, his reaction was normal, after all, this wasn’t just about her anymore; it truly concerned the reputation of the Gu Family.

“That’s not what I meant,” she corrected herself, “I’m not saying you were wrong to delete them, just that some people are like that, so don’t be upset when you see it.”

He handed her phone back to her, his previously stern expression changing slightly.

Telling him not to get angry, this woman really was carefree.

Seeing that he hadn’t spoken, Lu Wanwan threw aside the pillow and immediately stood up.

“Go change your clothes.”

She was confused, “Change clothes for what?”

“Dinner!” he said, checking the time to remind her.

Lu Wanwan of course knew it was time for dinner, but why change clothes for it, were they going out?

“Am I not… supposed to go out?”

Gu Annan dismissively said, “Do you think Lu Jingtian would really dare sue you? Go change your clothes.”

Withdrawing the lawsuit was a certainty, but Lu Jingtian’s ambiguous attitude about this matter afterward wasn’t right.

“I’m just asking since I’m free to move, can I go out?”

“I just checked with Xu Yuan, she’s free this afternoon. I was thinking of having her come over, but now…”

Before she could finish, she felt a sudden chill.

What did she say wrong?
