Chapter 47: Fiancée

“Jingyao… Ow!” Su Zhixi called out the man’s name again, but little did she expect that the man would sneak a bite on her lips.

She touched her lips as she looked at the man.

“Not bad.” He Jingyao’s voice was a little hoarse.

Just hearing his name from her mouth made his body heat up. He could not help but look forward to the time when he could have her beneath him, calling out his name…

Su Zhixi saw the man’s eyes darken, and she immediately knew what he was thinking…

She could not help but wonder if the man had desired her countless times… At this point, she felt her mouth dry up, and her heart was beating out of sync.

She evaded his gaze. “I’m leaving,” she said with a red face.

He Jingyao acknowledged her words but continued to stare at her.

Su Zhixi had no choice but to nudge the man aside, but he grabbed her hand.

“He Jingyao!” she said exasperatedly.

The man chuckled and pulled her up from the couch. Of course, Su Zhixi bumped into him.

Su Zhixi finally managed to break away from Young Master He’s claws of evil and left Jinmanlou Restaurant.

There were lights in the streets, and the light breeze cooled Su Zhixi down.

As she walked along the road, Uncle Li, clad in a suit and tie, approached her. “Ms. Su, Young Master asked that I send you home,” he said with a smile.

“Thank you.” Su Zhixi saw the understanding in the old man’s eyes. She felt the heat build up in her eyes and got into the car.

It was a thrilling experience every time she saw Young Master He, and her heart took ages to recover.

Su Zhixi was about to get off the car after they arrived at Yanzhou University when Uncle Li handed an exquisite gift bag to her. “Ms. Su, this is something Young Master prepared for you. Please accept it.”

Su Zhixi paused and instinctively took it.

Was this a gift that He Jingyao had prepared for her?

She felt weird accepting it just like that, but she could not control her curiosity… What would he get her?

“Please thank Young Master He on my behalf.”

“You can tell him yourself next time,” Uncle Li said with a smile.

The next time they meet… Su Zhixi got off the car with a red face.

She suppressed the urge to open the bag immediately and hurried toward the campus, but an obnoxious Maserati stopped right in her way.

The car doors opened, and a young woman stepped out from the car.

She was a classical beauty, and she looked elegant with the bag in her hand.

Su Zhixi wanted to walk right past, but she noticed that the woman’s eyes were on her. So, she paused in her steps.

Her instincts were saying that this woman was here for her.

“Su Zhixi?” the woman asked with the smile.

“You know me?” Su Zhixi asked in surprise.

“I know about you.” The lady smiled. “Right, by way of self-introduction, I’m Xia Xinyu, Jingyao’s fiancée.”

Su Zhixi’s eyes widened in her shock. As her right hand slackened, that exquisite gift bag fell to the ground.
