Looking at the tall building before her, Bai Chuxiao went to the reception. She tipped the brim of her hat. “Hello, I came here for CEO Yang to discuss our collaboration. I have an appointment. Can you help me arrange things?”

The front desk thought she was seeing wrong.

This… was the young miss of the Bai family?

She carefully studied the person before her, not at all looking like a disoriented person like they said.

“Please wait a moment.” The receptionist picked up the phone, pushed a button, and reported the situation.

A few minutes later, a person came down the elevator. Bai Chuxiao looked at the employee badge, and it said it was the assistant manager.

The assistant smiled at Bai Chuxiao. “Miss Bai, this way please. CEO Yang is waiting for you upstairs.”

Bai Chuxiao politely returned the smile. “Thank you.”

When they got in the elevator, the others craned their necks, looking around as though unsatisfied.

“That was the young miss of the Bai family? She’s alright?”

“It seems so. Haven’t seen her for a few months and she’s still this pretty. I love it.”

“When the accident happened, weren’t you smearing her instead? Have some face, okay?”

The elevator kept on rising, and when it reached a certain level, it stopped and the doors opened.

Bai Chuxiao was looking straight ahead and soon saw a person outside.

The man was wearing a red hoodie paired with black jogging pants. With his looks, it was quite a nice scene.

Recently, he starred in a TV show, and his performance made those people who looked down on his acting skills as an idol to shut up.

Bai Chuxiao almost forgot that Sky Corporation was focused on entertainment, and Ji Xinyu seemed to be among the first batch of artists they had signed.

Ji Xinyu followed his manager into the elevator.

Bai Chuxiao moved to the side to give some space.

The manager looked at Bai Chuxiao. This elevator was for exclusive use only, and ordinary people didn’t have the right to use it.

When Yang Zheng saw Bai Chuxiao, he got up and greeted, “Long time no see, Miss Bai.”

Bai Chuxiao smiled. “Hello, CEO Yang.”

They arrived at the couch area, and Yang Zheng told his assistant to bring in two cups of coffee.

“Miss Bai, how is your recovery?” Yang Zheng asked.

Yang Zheng was twenty-eight this year. He was the one who negotiated the contract with Bai Chuluo.

He admired this girl’s capabilities a lot.

After the accident, he had always felt it was quite a pity.

After all, a prodigy had fallen, and he was hoping he could collaborate with her further.

“It’s no big deal.” Bai Chuxiao looked at Yang Zheng and began to talk about business. “CEO Yang, I heard that you’re going to delay the collaboration with the Bai family?”

“Some problem occurred on our end, and we won’t be able to deliver on time according to the contract. As soon as the second batch of microchips arrive, we can push through with our collaboration immediately.” Yang Zheng replied.

Bai Chuxiao narrowed her eyes. It really was just a delay, nothing more.

Bai Dewen, this cunning old fox, was thinking too much. A clever person may become a victim of his own ingenuity—his cunning was curbing him instead.
