Jiasen’s face remained tense as he nodded to the kidnappers, “The phone is in my pocket.”

One of the kidnappers fished the phone out of his pocket, gestured towards his face to unlock it, and then used Jiasen’s phone to call Qiao Yin via video.

When Qiao Yin caught a glimpse of Jiasen and saw that he was unharmed–even his hair wasn’t messed up–she breathed a sigh of relief. It was good that he hadn’t been beaten or tortured.

However, the Jiasen in the camera seemed too calm, almost unnaturally so for someone who had been kidnapped.
