A man dressed entirely in white stood at the door. His handsome face was as pale and beautiful as the first snow. His expression was distant and aloof but it exuded as much elegance as a painting.

“Qingxue, you’re here.” Lin Wanyue’s eyes immediately lit up as she sashayed over. Yun Qingyan couldn’t help but wonder if Lin Wanyue’s waist would break if she continued walking like that.

His clear eyes spotted Yun Qingyan across the classroom against the window. Her black eyes were staring straight at him, and she was looking at him with some disdain and pity.

Lin Wanyue was about to catch hold of Baili Qingxue’s arm when she heard these words and froze for a moment before regaining her composure before answering his question. “Qingyan is already here.”

Her gentle hands reached for Baili Qingxue, but he avoided her touch very inconspicuously.

Lin Wanyue’s hands were hidden in her long sleeves and she clenched them into tight fists.

“I’m sorry.” There was a slightly apologetic look in Baili Qingxue’s eyes. He still wasn’t quite used to someone else touching him.

But when he thought about this, a strange suspicion appeared in Baili Qingxue’s heart. During those days he spent in the cave, wasn’t he already used to her touching him? Could it be that too much time had passed since then and his body had already forgotten that feeling?

“It’s… it’s alright.” Lin Wanyue squeezed a smile out.

Yun Qingyan folded her arms and looked on disdainfully as Baili Qingxue walked out.

“See! What’s the point of sacrificing so much for him? In the end… he can’t even tell who on earth really saved him back then.” Lin Wanyue said to the girl who had died so terribly for nothing in her heart.

She used one of her hands to touch her cheek.

The green spots on this face weren’t here when this body was born.
