“Is he down there?”

“Squeak!”

Qin Yiling said to the little monkey, “Help me find a large vine.”

Little Monkey squeaked in response before it jumped and left.

Then, Little White Tiger walked over to Qin Yiling and nuzzled against her pants.

“Good Tiger, thank you for carrying me here, but there’s nothing else I need your help with anymore. You should go home now. I’ll look for you again when I get the chance.”

“Roar!” The little white tiger looked at Qin Yiling for a moment, then with a leap and a jump, it disappeared into the forest.

Soon, the little monkey dragged a long vine over.

“Thank you, Little Monkey. I’m going down to save him now. I’ll play with you another day.”

Qin Yiling tied the vine around her waist, then she grabbed onto it and inched down the slope.

“Squeak squeak!”

Little Monkey jumped onto Qin Yiling’s back nimbly.

Seeing this, she smiled, not chasing it away. Since the little monkey wanted to accompany her, she decided to let it. After all, she might still need its help later.

Although this mountain wall was quite steep, it was fortunate that there was still foliage along the way, as well as tree branches growing out of the crevices of the mountain wall. If they had encountered a cliff that was covered only in rocks, they would be having a much more difficult time.
