She obeyed and held the small ball in her mouth. She mumbled, “What is this?”

But Rich tightened the strap of the ball, turning her words into meaningless whimpers.

“It’s just a ball. Have you forgotten that you’re my little dog?” Rich’s tone turned stern, and Julie could only nod and wait for his next move.

A few rustling sounds came from behind her. Her senses were incredibly heightened now that she was in darkness. Instinctively, she swallowed her saliva. Unfortunately, the ball gag in her mouth obstructed this, and a lot of saliva dribbled out of her mouth.
