Chapter 26: Julie Smith’s Death

Although Rich’s voice was still charming as ever, Julie was really starting to get scared.

“Ngh ngh ngh ngh.” Julie was resisting, but that guy had already reached his hand into her lower body. His hand was cold and it startled her.

They felt cold and sharp as he bolted inward. Julie did not feel any pleasure. In fact, she even felt that her flesh inside was about to be pierced through, and warm blood was flowing out.

These were what Julie was feeling most intensely. It was the complete opposite of what she was expecting when she had gone to meet up with him.

“Be quiet, darling. Others will find out if you’re too loud.” Rich squeezed her neck, choking her so forcefully with one hand that his fingertips were turning white. Julie’s face turned red as she could not breathe, and she had no strength left to even whimper like before.

“That’s right, be quieter.” His fingers withdrew from her lower region, leaving a trail of blood. In replacement, his immense thing penetrated her.

She struggled to breathe. Her lower region had been ripped violently by his fingers, and he then forcefully entered her when she was still dry. In an instant, all of the pain drowned out her sense of sanity, and she burst into tears.

Rich relaxed some of his strength, giving Julie some breathing space, but he did not release her completely. She ended up fainting before long as she was in too much pain.

He chuckled cruelly and said, “tapping out so soon?” But even as he was saying that his pelvic movements did not stop.

Meanwhile, Reese and King were unaware of all this, and they had parted soon after. However, it was only on the next day, when she was about to gather outside, that she realized her door had been locked from the other side.

She was clueless about what was happening. However, she guessed that even if she asked, the nurses or guards outside would probably not tell her.

She felt uneasy and unsettled as she did not know what was going on outside, but now was not the time to act rashly. Hence, she leaned against the door to listen for any sounds.

Unfortunately, she was either not good enough or the soundproofing of the door was too good.

It sounded silent outside the whole time. For a moment, Reese could only hear her own heartbeat.

On the other hand, King had confronted the scene directly. The female werebeast who had been targeting Reese had died in a secluded spot of the courtyard.

Her body was still bound by ropes, and she had been settled into a strange posture in a span of one night. Her two breasts were poking up high, while her lower body was covered in dark red congealed blood.

There were also many scratch marks on her body, and it was evident with just one look that someone had injured her with their nails. In addition, there were bruises on her neck. She had probably been strangled when she was still alive, but it was not immediately clear whether that had been done for pleasure or murder.

In short, this werebeast had been tortured to death, and she was in a rather tragic state when she died.

However, there were no semen or fingerprint traces on her body. She had been wiped clean, and no useful information was found.

The murderer was a very experienced werebeast, and this was looking to be a rather difficult matter to handle.

King realized that one of Julie’s eyes was still covered with a black cloth, while it had obviously slid down the other eye. This meant that she had seen the murderer’s appearance, but it was a pity that he could not ask the deceased any questions.

Everyone was ordered to lock down all areas of the hospital, prohibiting anyone from entering or leaving.
