well the lord here is shrouded in dumb mystery. If he loved MC’s mom so much, why did he left him alone to be victim of countless assassination attempts. Hell, at the start of the novel MC should have died if his descendent from future did not come and inject him with nano. And people around him, thinking foolishly that Lord imparted him techniques to be future successor.

Thankfully this was a pleasant surprise.
This novel was much better than what the popularity makes it seem to be.
