As Lin Yi stood next to the elevator, waiting for it to descend, her gaze fixated on the elevator doors. She silently counted the time until it reached the basement level, where she saw the familiar figure appear and then walk in another direction.

Lin Yi’s complexion turned instantly pale; her heart felt as if it had plunged into an ice cellar.

“Yi Yi, what are you looking at?” her brother inquired upon noticing her behavior.

“Nothing, let’s go. Let’s go eat,” she said.

Lin Yi took her brother’s hand and headed towards the restaurant.

At the dining table, Lin Yi kept her head down and continued to eat. Her brother noticed her demeanor and couldn’t help but feel concerned.

“Yi Yi, what’s wrong? Has someone upset you?” he asked softly.

“No, nobody’s upset me,” Lin Yi hurriedly explained.

“Really? Nothing?”

“Yes!” Lin Yi nodded vigorously.

“Then why are you suddenly unhappy?” Lin Yi’s brother inquired.

“Because you said you’d come to the UK with me, you know what? This is my second time running away from home!”

“Sorry, it’s my fault, brother won’t leave you behind again.” Lin Yi clenched Weiwei’s hand tightly and said.

“Mhm, I don’t want to leave you either.” Weiwei nodded and said.

After the two finished their meal, they headed straight for the airport.

Weiwei was restless all the way. She prayed the whole time, hoping not to be caught, hoping not, otherwise, she would have to live a life on the run again.

The plane landed in London, and Lin Yi and her brother waited at the exit gate.

Seeing this, Lin Yi’s brother quickly pushed the man’s hand away and rushed forward, starting a fight with him.

The two wrestled, but Lin Yi’s brother clearly had the upper hand, after all, he had five years of training and was much stronger than the average person.

“All right, you should go to sleep early; your father and I are going to bed.” Weiwei’s mother said, looking at Weiwei.

After Weiwei’s mother left, Weiwei immediately sat on the couch, took out her phone and dialed a number. A smile appeared on her face, “Hello, may I ask if…”

“It’s me.” Lin Yi’s brother spoke up.
