Chapter 45: Speeding on the Highway, Playing With Death

The hot breeze hit her face as soon as she stepped out of the teahouse.

Right then, a black Bugatti stopped at the cross junction.

Seeing that the black Bugatti had gone from their sight, the traffic policemen in the vicinity breathed a sigh of relief.

When Ye Mei was on the phone, she could vaguely see the vehicle. But before she realized it, the vehicle had disappeared from her sight.

Ye Mei hung up, turned around to look for Shen Chen. But she was nowhere to be found.

After looking around and finding no signs of her, Ye Mei had no choice but to get in her car and leave.

The Bugatti left the city, leaving a trail of dust behind it.

Shi Yu kept on driving with gloom in his eyes.

His sculpture-like handsome face looked stony.

He looked over at Shen Chen, who was cool, calm, and collected, and stepped harder on the accelerator.

The vehicle sped up instantly.

Running at high speed, overtaking countless other vehicles on the highway, as if he was gambling with his life.

Under this circumstance, most women would have been scared to death and screamed.

But Shen Chen just shrugged it off—she was even calmer than before.

The smile in Shi Yu’s eyes became more apparent as her reaction surprised him.

But isn’t the game even more exciting this way?

He sped up again. Now the vehicle was traveling at 190km/h.
