Chapter 47: Pay a Price for Being Unforgiving

The two were loggerheads, vowing to take on and defeat each other.

It was not until the car was pulled off the expressway that the two stopped digging at each other.

Shen Chen undid her seat belt and got out of the car.

Before leaving, she provocatively smacked her driving license on the hood.

Her incendiary eyes seemed to say, “Call the police if you dare!”

His sharp eyes glanced over the driving license and stopped on the name field. The corner of his lips raised into a meaningful smile. “Shen Chenzi?”

Shen Chen closed back the driving license, turned around and walked away.

Speaking of the name’s origin, it still left a bad taste in her mouth.

On the day she was born, orange trees were abundant outside her house.

Thus, her goddamn dad named her Shen Chenzi, (‘chenzi’ means orange in the Chinese language) just because he was too lazy to think of other names.

Fortunately for her, it was not other crops like potatoes or tomatoes planted outside the house back then. Otherwise, her name would be very much different now.

F*ck!

It still left a bad taste in her mouth whenever that came to mind.

A hand suddenly caught hers while the warmth of that hand permeating into her palm.

“Are you leaving just like this?” Shi Yu’s voice was charming as her peach eyes devoid of any emotional fluctuation.

Shen Chen shot back a glance at him. “What do you want, then?”

“What about the police lockup?” His lips curled up in a faint smile.

“At least I have to have committed some crime before they would put me in there, don’t you think so?”

“Would kidnapping count?”

“Who is kidnapping who now?”

Shi Yu stared at her with a meaningful look, giving a special emphasis on “you kidnap me” in his reply.

Shen Chen tried to shake his hand off. He pulled her towards him with force as they both fell back into the vehicle, one on top of the other.

A faint smell of cigar accompanied by a pleasant scent broke into Shen Chen’s nostrils nearly suffocating her.

Shi Yu lay alluringly in the seat and looked at her with a triumphant expression on his face.

Lying on top of him, Shen Chen’s face blushed. She fought to get away but failed. There was a clear disparity of physical strength between them.

Shi Yu looked at her, his peach eyes squinting, as if they would look straight through her.

His big hands suddenly slid up and wrapped around her waist.

Shen Chen’s mind went blank for a second but she quickly recovered from it.

F*ck, this man was taking advantage of her again!

She raised her hand to slap him.

Shi Yu tilted his head to dodge her attack with ease.

Immediately after that, he freed up one of his hands from her waist and caught both of her hands.

Shen Chen nearly went on a rampage as she laid on top of him.

She had finished cursing Shi Yu’s entire family and forefathers in just a few seconds.

Knowing that talk was cheap, Shen Chen had no choice but to show him action that he was taking on the wrong person.

She first quickly stretched her legs straight and then came up with her knee.

She thought she would hit the target. Little did she expect he had caught her leg between his legs, leaving no room for her to move around.

Looking at the enraged ‘wild cat’ on top of him, Shi Yu let out a teasing smile. “You are too young to play this game with me.”

“Young my foot!”

“You know, sometimes you need to pay a price for being unforgiving.”

There was a hint of evil in his elvish eyes.

Gut feelings told Shen Chen that this man was angry.

He suddenly looked up, his eyes turning deadly as he bit her lips.

“Mmm…”

Shen Chen groaned as a sharp pain hit her.

Streaks of blood flew down the corner of her mouth as if they were protesting Shi Yu’s dominion and rudeness.
