The Eye of Heaven, a manifestation of the Heavenly Dao, how terrifying, how formidable!

“Of course, it can!”

Tathagata Buddha said solemnly, “With the strength that the Daoist Ancestor had originally, it’s absolutely possible to slay that Eye of Heaven!”

Not many within the Three Realms knew of the battle when Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor had slain the Eye of Heaven, except the Three Purities and Zhun Ti. Only Tathagata Buddha knew because, at that time, the entire Three Realms were on the verge of collapse. Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor temporarily isolated the Three Realms Space with the Supreme Daoist Techniques to prevent the immense waves of power from the clash from directly shattering the Three Realms, which would be the last straw that broke the camel’s back.

At that time, Tathagata Buddha had just made a breakthrough and attained sainthood, and he was fortunate to witness that epic battle through the isolated barrier–a battle whose grandeur he vividly remembers to this day.

Back then, Tathagata Buddha had secretly vowed: one day, he too would reach the realm of the Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor, to slay the Eye of Heaven with his own strength, acquire the Power of Heaven-Opening, and earn the qualifications to venture into higher worlds.

“Maitreya, I am going into seclusion to make a breakthrough! I entrust the Buddhist Sect to you!”

Taking a deep breath, as though making up his mind, Tathagata Buddha stood up from the nine-tiered Merit Golden Lotus and said to Maitreya Buddha, “I will also pass on this nine-tiered Merit Golden Lotus to you, hoping it will flourish in your hands!”

“Ancestral Buddha, this is your Supreme Treasure; you rely on it for protection!”

Maitreya Buddha was shocked; the defensive power of the nine-tiered Merit Golden Lotus was astonishing. Tathagata Buddha intended to bestow it to him, planning to enter a seclusion from which he would not emerge unless successful?

“This nine-tiered Merit Golden Lotus is indeed a Supreme Treasure, but it cannot defend against the Eye of Heaven’s attacks. It’s of no use to me!”

Tathagata Buddha shook his head, “Relying too much on magical treasures will only limit one’s own development. The path I must take cannot be the same as that of Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor!”

“Ancestral Buddha, what do you mean? Your disciple does not understand!”

“There’s no need to understand. When your realm reaches that level, you will naturally comprehend!”

As his words fell, Tathagata Buddha turned and walked outside the great hall. He was heading to the Buddha-viewing Pagoda in the empty Luo Realm to enter seclusion and cultivate, aiming to completely break through to the Primordial Taiji Da Luo Gold Immortal Realm this time!

The scene of the Clan Leader Zhan Tian of the Battle Clan challenging the Eye of Heaven and dying had been clearly seen by nearly all the powerful beings within the Three Realms. The Eye of Heaven had appeared; only by successfully opening Heaven before the end of the Third Immeasurable Catastrophe could they preserve the existence of the Three Realms. Otherwise, although these saints of the Heavenly Dao might survive, others would perish along with the Three Realms–an outcome they absolutely could not accept!
