Chapter 1446: Chapter 1418: Behind the Distortion Is Suffering

A group of people, filled with doubts, followed Kiara back to the hotel, with Mario Yuno remaining silent throughout the journey.

He didn’t understand Psychology, but he was good at logical reasoning. As he pieced together the events of the day, it seemed he had come to an understanding.

“Wife, is the Oedipus Complex the same as having a love for one’s mother?”

“Yes.”

“Then, what you just asked about, what is having a love for one’s father?”

Kiara wasn’t surprised that Edward Wheeler asked this; if his brilliant mind couldn’t figure it out, that would have been strange indeed. He truly was Enlightened One.

“Love for one’s father is the Electra Complex, and actually, there are opposite states to these, like the reverse, for example, a father’s love for his daughter, a reverse Electra Complex. I think this is where the problem lies.”

Mario Yuno understood; no wonder Molly Palmer sought out much older men and had such a big reaction upon hearing Kiara’s few questions. If it were so–

“Then her hatred for Aka, could it be because of–?!”

Kiara nodded solemnly, yes, it was because of that.

Kiara then told them how she and Mario Yuno had discovered Molly Palmer, and how they had followed her to the hotel where she was with an old man.

Hearing this, Zoel Cohen became anxious.

“Is she sick in the head? Why would she imitate my woman, damn it, I really want to kill her!”

It was utterly disgusting; Mr. Zoel couldn’t stand the thought of someone doing such things with a face like his woman’s, he wished he could disfigure Molly Palmer.

“She is indeed sick; in fact, at this point, she’s already showing tendencies of a split personality.”

“You’re saying she has a split personality?!” Aka was shocked.

She had thought that Molly Palmer was living a much better life than her own, with everything she lacked; who would’ve thought that Kiara would say Molly Palmer was ill?!

“Yes, and the main cause of her current condition is… a terrible man.”

“Who! Tell me!”

Kiara couldn’t be certain about who was smarter; it was only her guess.

Aka might seem dumb and her professional studies were a mess, but judging from her actions, especially her whole interaction process with Zoel Cohen, she was definitely cunningly astute, understanding every bit where it mattered.

“It’s definitely her who’s taller, isn’t that obvious?” Aka hurriedly urged, realizing that Kiara was talking about herself and Molly Nan Guo.

“And then what happened?”

“Then… this younger sister was chosen, but what awaited her after being taken away was not heaven, but hell… I am over ninety percent confident that the person who adopted her gave her…forc… and not just once, I can’t rule out some violent methods.”

Kiara spoke implicitly, but Aka understood and gasped.

“Are you joking with me? She was just a kid when she was taken away!”

How exactly that person treated Molly, Kiara did not know, but judging from Molly’s performance today, it was certainly very tragic.

He didn’t think Aka was responsible at all. Indeed, if Molly had such a tragic past, it would be quite sympathetic, but being miserable herself and wanting to drag her twin sister down with her, Mr. Zoel just couldn’t tolerate that.
