After He Dong had caused such a scene, the couple returned to Jiangdu Building once they had finished their meal.

Inside the car, although Ye Yang couldn’t get a good look at them, he caught a glimpse of two people tailing them. And yet, he didn’t bother to do anything. Ye Yang knew that he had stepped on too many tails recently, but even if they wanted to execute revenge against him, it was impossible for them to make a move now since Huang Ruobing was with him.

If they attacked him, that would be offending Huang Ruobing indirectly.

Before Huang Ruobing said anything, the man who was forced by Ye Yang to cut off his own finger recognized him.

“That’s him!” Ding Datou pointed at Ye Yang. With excitement in his eyes, he shouted at his men, “What are you guys waiting for? Seize him!”

Upon hearing his instruction, Ding Datou’s goons immediately surrounded Ye Yang. And since Huang Ruobing was present as well, they didn’t apprehend Ye Yang out of respect for her.

Ye Yang glanced mischievously at Ding Datou without doing anything. Quite frankly, he thought nothing of these goons, but Ye Yang knew well enough that he shouldn’t be the first to initiate a fight. This territory belonged to Huang Ruobing, and if he did take action, she would be the first to get offended.

Having been silent all this while, Huang Ruobing finally spoke, “Stop at once, all of you. Who gave you the nerve to cause trouble at my turf?”

Ye Yang narrowed his eyes, directing a provocative look at Ding Datou. He had obviously expected this outcome. Meanwhile, Ding Datou said nothing as he looked at Ye Yang.

Despite her young brother being present, everyone knew that it was Huang Ruobing who called the shots around here. Since she had spoken, these people had no choice but to end the squabble.

While Huang Xudong knew that he was going a tad bit overboard with this, he was still surprised by the turn of events. This was because his older sister would usually show him some sense of respect, something which wasn’t here today.

“Sis?” Huang Xudong was obviously clueless at what was going on but he didn’t refute Huang Ruobing’s words. He seemed genuinely confused as to why Ye Yang had appeared together with his older sister. Also, if he did take action right before his sister’s eyes, that would be blatantly disrespecting her authority.

Huang Ruobing didn’t say anything. She could tell that a grudge existed between Ye Yang and Ding Datou so she said, “Send your goons away and take these people up to my office.”

Once they were inside the office, Huang Ruobing’s domineering aura was turned up to a full blast. Clearly, this was Huang Ruobing’s true nature. Looking at the four people before her, she took a sip of her coffee before saying, “Explain. What is this grudge you guys have with each other.”

Although Ding Datou had no idea what relationship Ye Yang had with Huang Ruobing, he dared not keep anything from her so he simply told her the entire story.

Initially, Ye Yang thought that Ding Datou would complain ceaselessly about him, but he was surprised when Ding Datou spilled out everything.

Staring at Ye Yang, hints of amusement surfaced in Huang Ruobing’s expression. “Who knew that my boyfriend had such capabilities as well?”

Aside from Ye Yang, everyone present was immediately dumbstruck, startled at the fact that Ye Yang was actually Huang Ruobing’s boyfriend. Then, they turned to Huang Xudong in unison, only to realize that he was just as shocked as they were. Clearly, Huang Xudong had had no idea about this relationship.

“Sis, you…” Huang Xudong gulped. He never thought that his sister would get a boyfriend, even more so since she was already engaged to He Dong.

A glance at Huang Xudong’s countenance was enough for Huang Ruobing to tell what he was thinking. However, Huang Ruobing wasn’t fond of He Dong and was reluctant to speak of him, so she simply interrupted Huang Xudong before he could barely even form a sentence.

“That’s not important. You only have to remember that this man is my boyfriend.”

But since it was inappropriate for her to deal with Ye Yang’s situation for him, she could only warn them to scare them off.
