As he was talking, the emergency room door opened first. Ruan Qingmu, with closed eyes and a white face, was pushed out on a stretcher.

Mu Wanli rushed up frantically. “Doctor, doctor, how is my son?”

The emergency doctor hurriedly reassured her, “Don’t worry. One of his ribs was fractured, but it didn’t cause any internal bleeding. After one or two months of fixation, it will be fine. In addition, he has frostbite on his hands and feet from wearing too few layers.”

Mu Wanli also followed the stretcher all the way to the ward. A doctor in charge of the ward soon took over and the medical orders were then issued.

When the needle was inserted into the vein, Ruan Qingmu’s eyelashes twitched and he opened his eyes.

Looking at Mu Wanli, who pounced over, his eyes gradually became focused. “Mom… Where is Qin Yuan?”

Mu Wanli was distressed and anxious. “He is still getting emergency treatment. The doctor said his life is not in any danger.”

Mu Wanli watched as the nurse finished her work and walked out, so she couldn’t help herself and asked in a whisper, “The Qin family’s little girl hadn’t explained clearly and was sent in to be rescued. From what I got from her, you jumped down by yourself?”

Ruan Qingmu looked up at the infusion tube before reaching up and ripping the needle off the back of his hand, leaving beads of blood pouring out.

He casually grabbed the toilet paper at the bedside and pressed it on the wound carelessly. “I’m not now.”

Mu Wanli was so angry that she almost wanted to hit someone but looking into her son’s eyes, her heart somewhat softened.

If they didn’t check on that child, she was afraid that her son wouldn’t be able to sleep soundly.

She assisted Ruan Qingmu and carefully walked outside, but she suddenly couldn’t hold it in any longer and bellowed in a small voice, “You’re a fierce kid. You must have jumped down yourself!”

Ruan Qingmu’s body shook and leaned against her crookedly, acting spoiled softly, “Mom, think about it. If I didn’t go down and the class monitor was bleeding profusely, what would happen to him lying down there? I just suddenly became impulsive…”

Mu Wanli’s heart ached in her chest. “Then, what would happen if you bled profusely when you jumped down? Who would save you?”
