Chapter 24: Take A Long Vacation

Ling Yue was happy that Shen Zhou was not around. For two consecutive days, Ling Yue wandered around the club.

“Coach Ling, What happened yesterday, do you have anything to explain?” Manager Wei went straight to the point.
“I have nothing to say.” Ling Yue shook her head.
Manager Wei replied with an “Oh” and said, “It’s like this, the managers let me ask for your opinion…”
“If the club managers feel that that matter has caused a bad influence, I can accept any punishment,” Ling Yue said sincerely.
Since she was an employee, she had to have at least some self-awareness.
Manager Wei quickly waved his hand and said, “The managers let me ask, do you think we should strengthen the security measures?”

Ling Yue went home and lay on the bed. No matter how she thought about it, she felt that something was wrong. Suddenly, her phone rang.
Ling Yue looked at the unfamiliar number and hesitated for a moment before picking it up. “Hello? Who is it?”
The other end did not speak. Ling Yue waited for a moment. Seeing that the other end still did not speak, she prepared to hang up.
The next second, the other end suddenly spoke, “Ling Yue.”
Ling Yue recognized that voice.
“Wang Na?” Ling Yue’s voice carried a hint of coldness.

After the silence, a man’s voice came from outside the door. “Hello! Is this Miss Ling? I’m the property manager of the Community!”
“What’s the matter?” Ling Yue asked again. She had no intention of opening the door.
“Here’s the thing. Your friend was worried that something might happen to you, so he asked us to come over and take a look.” The man’s voice sounded very sincere.
“Friend?” Ling Yue frowned and looked outside through the peephole.
It turned out that Wang Na was sobbing while thanking the three or four men beside her.
Ling Yue rolled her eyes and said to the door, “I don’t have any friends!”
“You’ve disturbed my rest! Please get off!” Ling Yue said with some annoyance.
The men looked at each other and then looked at Wang Na.
