It appeared that Fan Ruyin’s daughter, Bai Ruirui, had collided with Shao Yunduan’s carriage while Shao Yunduan was inspecting the road construction near the Fan Family’s estate. Bai Ruirui, perhaps lost in the scenery, had failed to notice the approaching carriage.

Due to the sudden jolt, the carriage’s axle and wheels snapped, causing Shao Yunduan and Qingyan inside to collide painfully with the carriage walls.

The incident left everyone shaken, their bodies drenched in cold sweat as they rushed to assist.

Bai Ruirui appeared utterly stunned, her widened eyes and pallid face betraying her shock. When a guard attempted to assist her, she emitted a feeble scream.

Finally catching up, the maidservant and elderly woman accompanying her shared in the shock at the sight.

Bai Ruirui, still shaken, mustered the strength to speak through her sobs. Clutching the maid’s arm, she attempted to halt Shao Yunduan’s departure. “I deeply regret my actions today. I never anticipated your carriage passing by at that moment. Please, consider moving to the Fan Family Mansion as a gesture of apology. Shao Yunduan cast her a cold glance before departing without uttering a word.
