At the same time, what happened in Hong Kong has made it to the world news, so Hong Kong’s government dispatched police and military to block the demons from advancing any further. Thanks to the Multiverse’s Rules, the demons were weakened enough to be fatally wounded by humans’ weapons! 

But the real problem right now was the number of demons that came out of the Serpentine Door and the fear of experiencing a gruesome death once they were captured by the demon! However, all countries in the world eagerly showed their assistance and support. It has become a worldwide problem instead of just Hong Kong’s problem!

Therefore, the nearest countries also dispatched their military to help Hong Kong purging the demons from their land. This support quickly strengthened the human’s line of defence and made it easier to defend from the match of the demons anywhere else! Not only that, but the hidden heroes in Asia began to come out of their hiding as they sensed the direness of the situation right now. 

At the same time, Wakanda sent their reinforcement too! They already heard about the detail of the situation from Dio himself, so they hurriedly sent their reinforcement long before the world was notified about the demon! 

Meanwhile, Dio and Robbie have joined forces and ganged up on Mephisto. Making it hard for Dio to relay information back to T’challa. But, Dio’s connection with the Dark Battleship was still active at the very moment due to the Dark Elf’s technology. 

Inside the Dark Battleship, the Dark Elves were busy preparing the Annihilation Cannon as it had to gather enough particles before it could be fired and destroy the Serpentine Door! Although Dio already told them that they only had to charge it to the first level as Dio didn’t want to level the country, it still took time to charge it up!

“Get back!” Dio shouted at Robbie as he received news that the Annihilation Cannon was ready to go. Robbie immediately threw his chain that was still attached to Mephisto’s body aside and immediately made some distance from Mephisto. He noticed a huge amount of energy being concentrated in the air and immediately realised that he wouldn’t be able to survive and most likely to be sent back to Hell if he was hit by whatever it was!

Despite also noticing the highly concentrated energy in the air, Mephisto’s response was nothing like Robbie. He was too confident and prideful to move away! He believed that none of Earth’s technology could harm him! So, he raised his hands and created a spear from Hellfire. This Hellfire Spear that Mephisto has made had the firepower to reduce a city to rubble in one attack! 

Although Mephisto was confident in his own power, he wasn’t stupid! He knows that he shouldn’t just take on whatever was about to hit him without doing anything about it! Dio then gave his permission to fire the Annihilation Cannon, and the Dark Elf immediately launched a buzzing beam of light of endless destruction towards Mephisto! 

At the same time, Mephisto hurled his spear towards the Dark Battleship, hitting the Annihilation Particle that head-on. Mephisto thought that his spear would decimate that beam coming from the sky as he believed that humans had no decent weapon anyway. But he failed to notice that the Dark Battleship wasn’t a product of Earth! It was a Spacecraft that was made in joint knowledge of Xandar and the Dark Elf! It was the best Spacecraft that any creatures in the universe will covet once they saw it!

Furthermore, the Annihilation Cannon itself used the Power Gem to charge its energy! 

As the Hellfire Spear collided with the Annihilation Particle and instantly evaporated, Mephisto frowned as he realized that his calculation was off the mark! But it was already too late as there was no time to evade the incoming attack!

Mephisto was hit directly by the Annihilation Particle, instantly creating a huge explosion on the battlefield with blinding light covering the vicinity. When the smoke subsided, the ground was gone, but the Serpentine Door was still intact and unharmed! A huge hole was made from the explosion that it was hard to see the bottom of the pit!

All the demon around Mephisto was destroyed without a trace, but Mephisto himself was still standing tall! There was a huge gaping hole on his chest, and his body was badly burned with wounds everywhere!

It was a miracle that Mephisto was still standing as anyone would’ve died on the spot! But from the look on Mephisto’s face, it didn’t seem like he was about to collapse. Rather, his expression was full of anger! He didn’t know what kind of weapon it was that managed to overpower him just now, but he still could regenerate his wound without a problem!

The huge gaping hole on Mephisto’s chest began to close in as it started to regenerate. It would take time to regenerate back to normal, but it wasn’t a problem that would hinder his movement! 

“It’s been a long time since anyone has ever hurt me this badly!” Mephisto coldly said as he looked at his chest. “But since you have proven yourself to be someone who can stand on the same ground as me, please save your pain and suffering for later! I want to feel your despair as I extinguish all your hope!” Mephisto shouted as he took a deep breath and his breath suddenly turned black.

Everyone didn’t understand what Mephisto was doing. It wasn’t clear whether it was a type of illusion or mental distortion, but the scene of the black smoke incited the primal fear in their mind!
