The room turned quiet for a moment. Everyone present turned to the door, confused by this unexpected guest.

Qin Feng ignored the people present and smiled at Liu Xinran.”I am here to check up on your grandfather.”

“Mr… Qin, hi…” Liu Xinran showed a stiff smile. Although she had called Qin Feng, she just did it in a hurry. She was regretting her decision now.

Even Li Yongjun and Professor Wang had no solutions for Liu Canghai’s condition, their treatment making her feel helpless and angry. After all, both of them were important figures with undoubtedly excellent medical competencies.

“Get out of here!” Li Yongjun also snapped. He was in a terrible mood. After all, if Liu Canghai passed away, his reputation would take a hit. He was running out of solutions too, so he decided to face the music.

But now, Liu Xinran had called a young man like Qin Feng here, making him even more annoyed. What was she doing? Was she looking down on him?

“Xinran, you are a little too impulsive,” a family member approached Liu Xinran and whispered to her. Obviously, he did not trust Qin Feng.

More whispers rose from the crowd, making Liu Xinran, who had not been that determined, even more hesitant. She looked at Qin Feng and thought for around a few seconds before finally offering an awkward smile. “Mr. Qin, I am sorry, but…”

She wanted to tell him the truth that she could not take the risk and that Liu Canghai was too important for her. Before she finished her words, Qin Feng interrupted her with a calm tone.

“I believe that everyone must think that this old man is drained out of vitality. Even if he is dying, he should die at an old age. However, you can’t find the proper explanation, so you ignored the truth directly.”

“What truth?”

“You young bastard, what do you know?”

Li Yongjun and Professor Wang snapped and threw a threatening look at Qin Feng. They just could not stand someone like him showing off academic knowledge in front of them. He was like a young kid from preliminary school who was provoking professors from university!

That was a total joke!
