“No, not dead, no, planet,” Wei Wufu spoke in a suppressed voice.

“You mean to say, we are on another planet? So, that guy who looks like an angel is an alien?” Lin Shen understood what Wei Wufu meant but felt even more astonished.

He had originally thought he was inside a cave heaven within Gourd Mountain. Little did he expect to have left his own planet and arrived on another.

“Yes,” Wei Wufu confirmed with certainty, his gaze still fixated on the “angel” flying above the sea, then continued, “Celestial, dangerous.”

“How do you know he’s a Celestial?” Lin Shen asked, puzzled.

“Before, many, dangerous. Universe, Human, very weak,” Wei Wufu emphasized the word dangerous once again.

What Wei Wufu meant was that he had encountered many Celestials before, and they were extremely dangerous creatures. In the universe, Humans are a very weak race.

“So you’re saying, you’ve been to other planets before, and to many of them?” Lin Shen was even more surprised.

“Yes,” Wei Wufu nodded again, his gaze still firmly on the Celestial above the sea.

“This world is far more complicated than I imagined,” Lin Shen thought as he noticed that the Celestial had a black object on his wrist, similar to the teleporters they had on theirs, though he couldn’t see the details due to the distance.

There had long been speculation that Base Variant Creatures were extraterrestrial beings, but it had always been just that—speculation. Now it seemed that it was not mere guesswork. Those who knew the truth had, for some reason, chosen to keep it hidden.

The Celestial appeared to be searching for something over the sea surface, flying back and forth several times, seemingly unable to find what he was looking for.

After hovering over the sea for quite some time, just when Lin Shen thought the Celestial hadn’t found what he wanted and was about to fly away, he saw the Celestial stop in mid-air.

“What is he doing?” Lin Shen couldn’t discern the purpose of the Celestial’s gesture of extending an arm due to the distance.

Lin Shen looked at Wei Wufu, who shook his head, indicating that he didn’t know what the Celestial was doing either.

As the two watched, they suddenly noticed that the sea water below the Celestial began to surge dramatically, with waves much larger than before.

Suddenly, the sea’s surface exploded in a spray, and a massive figure leaped through the waves and into the air, hurtling towards the Celestial hovering in the sky.

“Crystal-based Creature!” Lin Shen’s mouth hung open in amazement at the size and beauty of the Crystal-based Creature.

Its entire body was an azure blue, resembling a sapphire sea, much like the legendary Crystal Swallowing Giant Serpent. The part of its body that had broken through the sea’s surface was already dozens of meters long.

Under the sunlight, its azure body’s countless scales reflected light, dazzling and luxurious to the extreme.

Such a gigantic creature, who knew how many tons it weighed? The momentum of its emergence from the sea truly had a sort of heaven-devouring grandeur.

Lin Shen couldn’t help but think, “It’s hard to imagine that on a planet with such strong gravity, there could be creatures of such immense size. Shouldn’t the stronger the gravity on a planet, the smaller the creatures would be? The python’s gaping mouth was swallowing towards the Celestial in the air, who compared to the python, was pitifully small.

The next second, Lin Shen saw the Celestial’s White Robe tear as a white jade-like substance rapidly spilled out from within his body, instantly enveloping him entirely and solidifying into a White Jade Carapace, even the wings on his back coated with a thin layer of jade.

From a distance, the Celestial resembled a statue of an angelic warrior sculpted from crystalline white jade, sanctity radiating from its majestic form.

With a flutter of his wings, the Celestial soared across the sky like a startled swan, stepping on the head of the giant python with one foot of white jade.

The python, as if struck by a heavy blow, plummeted back into the sea with a tremendous crash, stirring up waves several dozen meters high.

The Celestial seized the opportunity to press the attack, charging at the python in the water. Before he even reached it, a giant tail suddenly lashed out from the waves beside him, striking the Celestial with great force.

The Celestial had no time to dodge. He crossed his arms in front of his body to take the blow, and his body was immediately hurled away like a cannonball, flying dozens of meters through the air before plunging into the sea.

“To be hit by such terrifying strength, even a Crystal Base Level being couldn’t withstand it, right?” Lin Shen muttered to himself.

The python turned over and also dived beneath the surface of the water. The sea became even more turbulent, with countless eddies stirring and spouting columns of water like fountains, like a continuous eruption of volcanoes, causing the surrounding sea to surge relentlessly.

It seemed that the Celestial had not been killed, and was actually engaged in battle with the python underwater.

“He clearly has wings but chooses to abandon his advantage to fight that Crystal Base Level Azure Giant Python in the sea. Is he brainless, or is his strength so great that he can disregard environmental influences?” pondered Lin Shen.

“Strong,” Wei Wufu said just one word, and it was unclear whether he referred to the Celestial or the python.

Parts of the python’s body occasionally surfaced but the Celestial could not be seen breaking the water.

Suddenly, the tumultuous sea exploded with a water column over a hundred meters high, and the body of the Celestial was hurled from it.

The python, swift as a shadow, burst through the waves, opening its Heaven-Swallowing maw, and swallowed the Celestial whole in one gulp.

“The Celestial doesn’t seem to be doing too well,” Lin Shen thought to himself.

But the very next second, Lin Shen saw a large hole explode in the belly of the python, and the Celestial burst out from the opening.

Boom!

The python’s body descended in free fall, crashing onto the sea surface. The raging waves rushed onto the beach, flooding the area where Lin Shen and Wei Wufu were hiding.

Fortunately, the wave came quickly and receded just as fast. When the water pulled back, the Celestial was seen dragging the body of the python, step by step, onto the beach.

It might have been that the Celestial had expended too much strength in the fight, or that the python’s body was simply too heavy. Without the buoyancy of the water to support it, the Celestial could only drag it halfway up the beach before he could move it no further.

Thump!

The Celestial collapsed straight onto the ground and lay motionless on the beach.

Base Mutation Fluid continued to flow from the python’s abdominal wound, but there was still no movement from the Celestial. He appeared to be dead.

“You stay, I go,” Wei Wufu, supporting his body with his arms, crawled towards the body of the python.

Lin Shen guessed that Wei Wufu wanted to drink the python’s Base Mutation Fluid, perhaps it would help his body heal.

After a moment’s hesitation, Lin Shen did not go out and continued hiding behind the rocks.

Wei Wufu crawled closer, sized up the Celestial for a moment, then went straight to the python’s wound and began to drink the blue Base Mutation Fluid flowing out.

“Friend, that’s my prey. I do not recall inviting you to partake of my kill,” a hoarse voice rose from behind Wei Wufu.

Wei Wufu turned to look back, only to see the Celestial slowly rising from the ground, staring at Wei Wufu with an icy gaze.
