Chapter 56: Soft Is Stronger Than Hard 1

Outside the study room, Yang Yuxi was leaning on the wall, panting heavily. Her entire body was long drenched in cold sweat and she felt chills down her spine. Although the matter occurred a few minutes ago, she could still feel the fear in her heart at the thought of what had happened.

“That was so scary,” Yang Yuxi muttered. She was not a cowardly person but shrouded by Ye Ming’s cold and sinister aura, she was still feeling terrified and had goosebumps. However, at the same time, her curiosity about the incomplete sketch increased. She very much wanted to find out why this sketch was so extraordinary.

Standing in front of the sketch in the study room, Ye Ming’s back was slightly bent as he stared at the drawing board nervously. It was only until he confirmed that the drawing was not the slightest bit damaged that his uptight mood eased and the gloomy aura surrounding him dissipated a little. “I will definitely find you,” Ye Ming uttered as he gazed at the incomplete sketch. There was a trace of indescribable determination in his gentle voice.

After a long time, Ye Ming covered the drawing board and walked out of the study room with large strides. He went to the living room but did not see Yang Yuxi. Frowning, he asked, “Where is Yang Yuxi?” Seeing his moody expression, the few helpers present had been keeping mum out of fear. However, they dared not slight him when he questioned. One of them said cautiously, “Young master, Miss Yang said she is going back to the school as there are self-study lessons at night.”

“Went back to the school!” Ye Ming’s face darkened. This woman actually dared to leave without uttering a word to him. She had not figured out her current position. There was never anyone who dared to leave so casually after provoking him, much less the fact that she was his servant.

Yang Yuxi dialed Yang Yuxi’s phone number and screamed when she picked up the call, “Yang Yuxi, who allowed you to leave? I order you to come back immediately.” On the other side of the phone, Yang Yuxi furrowed her brows and explained, “I have night classes today.”

“Let me repeat. Come back here immediately. Otherwise, you have to bear the consequences,” Ye Ming said again. “Let me tell you too. I have night classes today. When I have lessons, I am a teacher and only a teacher,” Yang Yuxi said loudly and hung up the call directly afterward.

At the sound of the beeping tone in the phone receiver, Ye Ming was appalled and he could not come to his senses immediately. After a moment, he widened his eyes and dashed to the doors furiously.

The phone in his hand had been smashed onto the floor and shattered badly. A voice was hollering in his mind. She actually dared to hang up on me. She actually dared to hang up on me. How dare she!

“Yang Yuxi, you’re gutsy,” Ye Ming muttered. When he reached the peak of his fury, he actually calmed down gradually. This servant had been challenging him repeatedly. Since that was the case, she could not blame him for being nasty.
