However at this moment, Qiao Moyu was a bit lost in thought and did not care what Huang Chu thought. When Ye Peicheng said ‘when they have children’, has he already thought that far?

The program ended successfully and everyone said farewell to the villagers and returned to the city.

When Qiao Moyu arrived home it was already dark. She opened the door and smelled a strange scent.

Her heart tightened and quickly advanced in to find a little cat.

Luo Luo held a piece of durian in his hand. The durian looked ripe as the flesh was thick and soft. As a result, the little guy’s face and hands were covered in a yellow durian paste.

When he saw Qiao Moyu walk in, his eyes shined and he quickly ran towards her, “Mama!”

Qiao Moyu did not like the smell of durian but could not bear to brush him away when she saw Luo Luo happily run over. She reached out her arms and picked up Luo Luo, “My baby is so cute!”

Ugh, if this baby was not covered in durian then it would be even better!

“Mama, the durian is really tasty!” Luo Luo passed over the piece of durian in his hands to Qiao Moyu, “Taste it Mama!”

Qiao Moyu silently said, “Mama is not hungry.”

The little one’s face was covered in paste and his eyes were big and bright. He continued to raise the piece of durian in his hand and said, “Grandpa said durian is nutritious and uncle also liked to eat it when he was young!”

To the side, Aunty Yu explained, “Yesterday, Luo Luo stayed over at the Ye’s so he only came home today. Mister Ye said Luo Luo likes to eat durian so I specially brought some Mao Shan Wang* over when Luo Luo came back today.”

(*TL-note: The most famous durian among durian lover has a retail price of between RM35 to RM60 per kilogram. It is sweet, creamy, dry and a kind of different taste than the local durians.)

So she was the only one who did not like to eat durian in the family?

She tried to visualise a younger Ye Peicheng eating durian then took a photo of Luo Luo and sent it over, “Ye-gege, you also went crazy over durian when you were younger?”

Ye Peicheng’s home was a bit further away from the airport so he was not home yet. When he heard his phone, he picked it up and saw Luo Luo’s photo.

His heart was suddenly hit by softness and replied, “Yes, father and I both really like to eat durian.”

“Luo Luo has been corrupted by you guys!” Qiao Moyu sent a few crazy knife emojis and added, “I really don’t know where he got this from!”

Once it was sent, she suddenly felt she should not discuss the child’s father with Ye Peicheng. Afterall, Ye Peicheng already said he did not mind her past.

A second later, she received Ye Peicheng’s reply, “Maybe it came from me.”

Qiao Moyu, “…”

Thirty seconds later, Ye Peicheng sent another message, “Little Moyu, I saw that in the afternoon on the day after tomorrow, we don’t have any movie shoots. So let’s take Luo Luo to the amusement park!”

Since Qiao Moyu got together with Ye Peicheng, she had always worried whether Ye Peicheng would accept Luo Luo but it looks like she would not have to worry. She replied, “Okay.”

As if it was not enough, she sent a heart emoji.

On the other side, Ye Peicheng sent a kissing emoji.

When Qiao Moyu saw it, the corners of her lips raised slightly as if she could feel it and carried her phone to the bedroom.

Luo Luo was still eating durian outside while inside the bedroom, Ye Peicheng’s call already came through, “Little Moyu, are you missing me?”

Qiao Moyu’s heart missed a beat when he hit the nail on the head but before she could reply, he said, “I saw you half an hour ago but I already miss you.”

Qiao Moyu felt her heart suddenly go silent and thought to herself, she seems to like him now…
