Chapter 222: Proposal (1)

“Moyu, in the past, I never thought of how my future would be, until I met you and Luo Luo.” Ye Peicheng raised his head to look at Qiao Moyu. Her silhouette was in his deep eyes. “Just like how my life before meeting you guys was only black, white, and gray. But because of you guys, there has been color in my life now.”

Luo Luo didn’t quite understand why his daddy had to kneel on one knee and say this. But he instinctively felt like he shouldn’t be talking now. Therefore, he didn’t disturb the two.

“Moyu, Luo Luo, I am thankful for you guys and grateful that you guys walked into my life.” Ye Peicheng gradually raised the ring. “Moyu, I love you. Will you marry me?”

At this moment, Luo Luo finally understood. He recalled what his daddy reminded him this morning. As long as mommy agreed later on, he just needed to say one sentence.

He focused his attention on Qiao Moyu to see tears in her eyes gradually appearing.

Was mommy about to cry? Luo Luo didn’t understand.

Qiao Moyu indeed felt the sourness in her nose. Whether it be proposal scenes in her previous life or after she transmigrated, she had seen it many times. She also looked forward to it, wondering if someone would ever propose to her in such a romantic way.

Up until this point, she stared at Ye Peicheng. She felt the honey in the jar was knocked over and she felt an overflow of sweetness. She felt blessed when she paved the path with petals with Luo Luo.

In the end, she couldn’t hold it in. A tear of happiness slid down her eyes. Under the sunlight, it was as bright as a crystal.

“Yes!” Qiao Moyu smiled and there were water droplets hanging on her eyelashes.

When he heard this, the nervousness in Ye Peicheng’s eyes finally disappeared. He laughed and it was a warm smile that Qiao Moyu had never seen before.

He raised Qiao Moyu’s left hand and gradually wore the ring on her ring finger.

She raised his hand and wore the wing for him as well. Then, she helped him up.

Seeing that it was finally the moment of the step Luo Luo heard his daddy talk to him about, he hurriedly sprinkled all the petals in the basket on them. He happily said, “Now the groom can kiss the bride!”

The little boy finished this to see Ye Peicheng lowering his head to kiss Qiao Moyu. He hastily covered his eyes with his chubby hands.

When he covered it, he was a bit curious however. He secretly took a look and turned around. He silently said: this child didn’t see! This child didn’t see anything! 

Under the sunlight, Ye Peicheng lightly caressed Qiao Moyu’s lips. The kiss became deeper and deeper later on.

He held her waist tightly and his fingers traveled back and forth through her hair, until she laid in his arms from a lack of oxygen.

“Moyu, do you love me?” He slightly moved away from her lips and asked in a deep voice.

Qiao Moyu was in a daze. She felt like her heart was about to jump out her throat. She looked at Ye Peicheng and softly said yes.

He lowered his head to kiss her again. It was passionate as though he was consuming the last drop of water in the desert. He almost swallowed her.

Luo Luo had covered his eyes for a while. Seeing that there were no movements, he turned around to see. But then the little boy turned back immediately after seeing them.

“This child didn’t see…” He continued to say, kneeling on the sand and drawing.

They were by the seaside villa for a whole week. Every day, they almost woke up naturally. Then they ate breakfast outside and took a stroll. They would swim, fish, and even barbeque themselves.

They almost forgot about the time when they were away from the bustle and people. On the last day, Ye Peicheng invited a photography team over to take wedding pictures for the three of them.
