“Brother, Mr. Lu, I have something to do, so I’ll leave first.” Jun Li stood up to leave.

“Don’t be anxious, I never said I wouldn’t.” Jun Yu said with a smile, “But I have a condition.”

“What?” Lu Shijin asked without much hope.

Jun Yu smiled, “You have to go back to the sea with me and be my queen.”

Lu Shijin: ???

Jun Yu lowered his head, one hand caressing Lu Shijin’s stomach as heat pooled in his eyes, “Do you realize what  an honor it is to receive the favor of the merpeople’s king? You human?”

Who am I? Where am I? Why does this fish talk like he’s some overbearing CEO in one of those shitty dogblood webnovels?

“Honor my ass!” Lu Shijin was furious and escaped Jun Yu’s grasp when he was unprepared. He grabbed a glass cup from the side, directly smashing it onto Jun Yu’s head.

Jun Yu just felt an intense pain on his head and before he had time to react, he fainted.

“What merpeople’s king, his combat power is nothing!” Lu Shijin moved the unconscious body away and stepped on him a couple times just out of spite.

“Heh, not anxious what now? See, this is what happens when you piss me off.”

A staticky strange voice suddenly sounded in Lu Shijin’s head, immediately making him alert, “Who? Who’s talking? Convenience store, was it you?”

711 came online, “No, I didn’t say anything, but I did hear that sound!”

“Who could talk in my mind other than you?”

“Huh?” That voice sounded out again, “You guys can hear me?”

Lu Shijin and 711 reacted simultaneously, “Yeah! Who are you?”

That voice took a long time to respond, as though it was trying to grasp a shocking fact.

“I’m the system ‘211,’ who are you guys?” It asked weakly.

711 said, “211? Second brother, it’s you?”

“And you are?”

“I’m your older brother! 711!”

211 also became excited, its voice becoming louder, “Seventh brother, it’s you!”

“. . . Wait, you two know each other?”

“Yup. 211 was made by the same creator, so he’s technically my younger brother.”

“211’s older brother wouldn’t happen to be 985*, right?”

(*A reference to certain universities in China.)

“What are you saying, host?” 711 was very happy, “Turns out that the merpeople’s king’s system was you! Why didn’t you show yourself earlier? It would’ve saved so much trouble!”

“I didn’t think of this either! I’m so happy to have come across you, seventh brother!”

“Wait, before you keep with this family reunion, why can I hear Jun Yu’s system’s voice?”

“You don’t know this host, but 211 isn’t very steady and it often has bugs, so you don’t have to be surprised at anything.”
