Actual Fairytale (end)

Shen Shao was a very proud person and would rather die than be under someone’s control.

Jun Li had been hurt once by Shen Shao. Under Jun Yu’s influence, his personality turned forcible instead of dedicated.

He thought that he could get Shen Shao to love him if he forced him to be by his side.

And the more Shen Shao tried to leave, the more he thought Shen Shao didn’t love him.

Many misunderstandings forced them to this point, and to bridge the gap that now existed between them, it would probably take a lot of effort.

Lu Shijin was lost in his own thoughts when he suddenly heard Jun Li speak, “Stop! Stop! There’s a group of sharks in front of you, you’ll be in danger if you go any further!”

It was mating season for sharks right now and they were all gathered around in certain spots. If anyone disturbed them, they would be torn apart instantly.

Although the submarine had a hard exterior, it wouldn’t do much against sharks.

But Shen Shao could see sunlight from the surface already. If they stopped or turned, Jun Li would catch up and their plan would fail.

Only by going through the sharks would they be able to escape. Hadn’t he always been planning for this moment?

“Shen Shao, I told you to stop! Did you not hear me?” Jun Li’s voice was panicked. Shen Shao heard his warning, but didn’t slow down. Jun Li had a bad feeling.

Seeing the decision on Shen Shao’s face, Lu Shijin hurriedly coaxed, “Shen Shao, let’s listen to Jun Li and stop. It’s too dangerous, and you have a child, we can’t risk it!”

Jun Li watched as their submarine raced towards the sharks. His voice was trembling, hating himself for being too slow to stop them.

A male shark that was over ten meters long was the first to notice them. It was very annoyed at being interrupted and swam over with red eyes.

Then, many other male sharks noticed. They were very sensitive because of their mating season, and only wanted to tear apart everything that came close to them.

Sharks were one of the cruelest predators in the ocean. Prey that entered their sights would never be able to avoid their mouths.

Lu Shijin and Shen Shao were surrounded.

Their submarine was just a normal one used for transportation, so it had no weapons. They could only try to avoid the sharks, and couldn’t fight back.

Shen Shao hurriedly tried to avoid all of their attacks, but how could a submarine be more agile than a shark?

The sharks used their tails to slam the submarine around, and would occasionally use their heads to butt it, and their teeth to bite it.

The submarine was tossed and turned all over. Lu Shijin felt like a ball kicked back and forth, he felt like his bones were going to break.

He was still doing better than Shen Shao. With his pregnancy, Shen Shao really couldn’t take it.

Lu Shijin was afraid that something would happen, so he went over to steady him.

Although Jun Li was close, he wasn’t able to instantly reach them.

Suddenly, red lights started flashing, along with an ear-piercing alarm. Lu Shijin looked up to see a leak from the sharks’ teeth!

“Fuck, if we stay here, we’ll drown instead of getting eaten by the sharks!” Lu Shijin cursed and took over Shen Shao’s spot to pilot the submarine. At the same time, he was talking with 711, “If there’s really no other way, then I’ll open the submarine and leave with Shen Shao. You have to keep him and his baby safe.”

“Okay, understood!”

Noticing the hole, the sharks started focusing there. Water poured in and soon reached their waist.

“I can’t hold on, we have to leave.” Lu Shijin gave Shen Shao some diving equipment to wear and taking advantage of the sharks’ focus on the submarine, they opened the door and quietly left.

But because of Shen Shao’s large belly, he was very slow and was noticed quickly.

That shark was very excited to have found prey and quickly went over to Shen Shao, preparing to swallow him whole. Thankfully, Jun Li arrived!

Jun Li was using a military submarine, which had cannons. However, he was afraid of hurting Shen Shao with the explosion, so he didn’t dare use them. He first used a mine to scare away the other sharks, then raced towards Shen Shao.

Jun Li was just able to save Shen Shao from the shark!

“Why did you do that? Don’t you know how dangerous it is?! Even if you don’t think about yourself, what about the child? Do you not care about the child?!” Jun Li embraced Shen Shao, his eyes filled with pain as he gritted out, “Shen Shao! Are you so unwilling to be with me that you’d rather die?!”

Shen Shao may have just survived a dangerous situation, but his anger was still there. He couldn’t not underwater like merpeople, so he just stared at Jun Li angrily to show his attitude.

Jun Li stared at him for a long time, but still couldn’t accept that Shen Shao would rather die than stay by his side.
