Colin argued with Jin Xiangdong. “How can you use the words not necessarily if you don’t try and explore your options?”

Jin Xiangdong’s expressions were hard to read. “Because I am nothing but an experiment!”

Lu Jia’er heard his words. She blinked and gazed at him. He must have found out the truth, the cruel, hard truth.

Lu Jia’er held Jin Xiangdong’s hand and he smiled at her. His facial expressions were telling her that he was fine and that she should put her mind at ease.

“But she has feelings for you!” Colin went on with his analysis.

“Yes, she has feelings for me. For that reason, I am unwilling for her to shoulder such responsibilities.” Jin Xiangdong stressed.

Colin could not help but break into laughter. “Are you still tangled in the relationship between a sister and brother at this moment?”

Jin Xiangdong looked at Colin but said nothing in return. Lu Jia’er had been holding Jin Xiangdong’s hands gently. “Colin, there is something I find strange. Since you can sneak into this research center, why didn’t you make a plan of retreat?”

Colin turned to Lu Jia’er and said, “Of course I have a plan of retreat. However, I can only make arrangements about matters on the outside. The inside is full of uncertainty. But Ian reiterated to me again and again that you were the priority. Therefore, I have to attend to the matter personally and come in here!”

“Yes, I do!” Lu Jia’er knocked Colin out, which was unexpected, after her reply.

Jin Xiangdong was not shocked by Lu Jia’er’s actions at all because the more he thought about certain matters, the odder they seemed to be.

Whether it was Ian or Colin, every time they showed up, it would be just in time or a coincidence. How could the world be filled with so many timely actions and coincidences? Hence, this was a lead that was worth probing into.

Colin was put on the ground by Lu Jia’er who removed his wristwatch. With the functions of her eyes, the traces of Colin’s fingerprints were enlarged to a large extent and she was able to figure out the password in only a short amount of time.

Lu Jia’er used the AR image to view the contents and data inside. Having finished this, she told Jin Xiangdong, “I think it is as Jin Xianglan said, there is no possible escape.”

Jin Xiangdong checked the map projected into the AR image. He browsed through it from the left to the right quickly. Soon, he noticed a location. “Look here at the southeast side. There is a landing field for emergency helicopters. Jia’er, check who has the authority to access the landing field!”

Lu Jia’er read through the database. “Jin Shengping and Jin Xianglan are included here!”
