As a gesture of reciprocity, Su Yunjin planned to send back several jars of the fine wine Gu Ya had brewed to Mrs. Qin, for her to sample. With Mrs. Qin’s status, she wouldn’t be impressed by other gifts, and sending something too expensive wouldn’t be appropriate, nor would something too shabby.

It seemed best to directly send a few jars of good wine as a gesture that acknowledged Mrs. Qin’s kindness and served as a return gift. Su Yunjin suggested to Gu Ya that they send a return gift.

For such a minor matter, Gu Ya naturally wouldn’t object. Following his young wife’s suggestion, he arranged for someone to deliver several jars of fine wine to Mrs. Qin.
