It was already noon, and the sun was shining brightly in the middle of the sky.

Sophia’s eyes lit up. “These look so appetizing!”

“They are all food suitable for pregnant women. My dad made them himself.”

“Professor Sanders cooked all these?” Sophia was a little shocked.

Felix’s parents were both professors at Rotary University. His father, Sanders, taught biology. Sophia never took his classes and didn’t know what he looked like. However, she heard from other classmates that he was a gentle soul.

She didn’t expect him to be a good cook too.

“During my dad’s younger days, he did some research in the East and learned how to cook then. After he came back, he took charge of the kitchen instead of my mother.”

He arranged the dishes neatly on the table and urged Sophia to start eating.

Sophia nodded with satisfaction and praised, “They’re delicious!”

“I’m glad you like it.”

After lunch, they cleaned up after themselves.

Sophia said gratefully, “I had a great time today. Thank you very much, Felix. Also, please thank Professor Sanders for me. His cooking is delicious. I feel energized after that meal.”

“If you like it, you can have your meals at my house in the future.”
