He did not head to the ocean of lightning yet. He used psychic power to check. The psychic power he could use now really deserved this name. Like a gentle breeze, the psychic power spread across to all sides silently and instantly covered up an area within a radius of three thousand miles. His psychic power could travel even faster.

But Lu Li did not find Little White after a while. There was no trace of Little White in an area with a radius of thousands of miles. Lu Li’s eyebrows were knitted together as he flew toward the ocean of lightning in the distance.

“Boom!”

A white lightning was discharged from the sky. Lu Li did not move or dodge as the lightning struck him. If he could not even survive the white ones, he could forget about going to the Divinity…

When the white lightning entered his body, nothing changed. Lu Li felt it was just a gentle breeze. Now he understood better. He pressed forward with faster speed.

An hour later, Lu Li found himself at the edge of the ocean of lightning. Finally, Lu Li found Little White. He was shocked at a single glance.

Little White was in the center of the ocean of lightning. It was golden lighting that was striking Little White and it could survive the force!

How strong was the golden lightning? Lu Li was not sure. But he was certain that not even a warrior at the peak of the Semi-God Realm could stand it.

In a year and a half, Little White had progressed by leaps and bounds. Or… was it because Little White was born to resist lightning and thunderbolts so that it would not be harmed?

Either way, Lu Li was more than delighted about Little White’s progress. Little White grew up with him and was intelligent. To Lu Li, Little White was just his younger brother.

Little White was still not capable enough to survive the most central area of the ocean of thunders. Lu Li could tell that every thunderbolt near the towering mountain was black. Little White could not have survived that. Since Little White was not his spiritual beast, he could not let Little White come to between his eyebrows. As such, Lu Li could not bring Little White to the Divinity.

“Little White!”

Lu Li shouted. Little White, who was traveling across the ocean of lightning, turned back at once. Seeing Lu Li, Little White’s eyes were brimming with delight. Little White dashed over like a sharp sword.

“Squeak, squeak!”

Hopping onto Lu Li’s shoulder, Little White kept chirping happily and rubbing its head on Lu Li’s face. Little White looked at Lu Li with pride, waiting to be praised.

“Well done, Little White. You have made noticeable progress!”

Lu Li patted Little White’s head. Little White’s white fur was burnt, revealing a bald head. Little White looked less pretty than before. Of course, Lu Li did not care, and he gave Little White a kiss.

“Little White, keep working and try to go past the black thunderbolts as early as you can!” Lu Li paused for a bit. “When you can do that, you can climb up the towering mountain and meet me in the Divinity.”

“Phew?”

Little White gave Lu Li a glance of confusion. Then, Little White pointed at the towering mountain and then at itself resolutely.

“You want to follow me to the Divinity?”

Lu Li was surprised. He shook his head, “No, Little White, you are not strong enough to do that. Before you reach the standard, natural law will not let you go to the Divinity. You will be strike to death.”

“Squeak, squeak~”

Little White grabbed Lu Li tightly and kept screaming. Little White was determined to follow Lu Li to the Divinity even at the risk of its life.

“How about this…”

Lu Li said after some thoughts, “I will put you into the Wicked Bead. If you are not evicted by natural law, I will take you to the Divinity. But if you are, you must stay here and cultivate.”

Natural laws could impose restrictions or else in the past, immortals could have brought people to the Divinity. Little White did not know how to become Lu Li’s spiritual beast. The only option Lu Li had was to put Little White in the Wicked Bead.

The Wicked Bead was a supreme Relic. There was a chance that it could protect Little White and let Little White sneak into the Divinity.

“Squeak, squeak~”

Little White made some noises of agreement. Lu Li took out the Wicked Bead and put Little White in. He took a breath and flew slowly toward the ocean of lightning. He was not afraid that he would face fatal danger. He was worried that Little White might suffer misfortune.

In the ocean of lightning, lightning flashed, and thunder rumbled. Lu Li noticed he was enveloped by electric charges as soon as he was within this area. Countless bolts of lightning struck him, trying to tear him apart like a horde of angry beasts.

Lu Li did not even use the Burning Blood skill or Dragon Armor. He sustained the strikes purely relying on his physical body. He had the body of an immortal. No thunderbolts from the mortal world could hurt him.

He moved on slowly. No matter how many strikes he sustained, he did not stop. Those thunderbolts were like spindrift. Nothing could force him back.

Lu Li was slowing down. Nevertheless, he soon arrived at the center area where the lighting was golden in color.

Lu Li took a more cautious attitude. He was not afraid of the thunderbolts. It was the space that was trembling violently. With each lightning discharged, the space would shake.

What worried Lu Li the most had happened. As Lu Li stepped into the area filled with black lightning, he had a clearer sense of spatial tremble. When a bolt of black lightning came to strike him, the Wicked Bead in his hand suddenly lit up. Little White showed up all of a sudden and was struck by the thunderbolts and lighting.

“Oh no—”

Seeing that smoke billowed from Little White, Lu Li threw Little White backward out of instinct. He had fended off much of the power from that black lightning. However, even part of the force had harmed Little White. If Little White were to be struck constantly, it could lose its life.

After Little White was thrown away, it began to be struck by golden lightning. Little White could stand it. Little White shouted at Lu Li with great anxiety and kept trying to fly to Lu Li.

“Stop!”

Lu Li screamed, fierce both in look and voice, “Little White, you promised me that you would stay here if natural law would drive you away. If you don’t behave, I will not accept you from now on!”

Little White was losing its temper. Little White was afraid because Lu Li rarely got mad at it. For a moment, Little White was hesitating. It no longer had the courage to come over. Little White would release some sad noises as it looked at Little White with its watery eyes.

Lu Li did not grow tender-hearted. This was not a joke. Little White could lose its life. With a softer tone, Lu Li said, “Little White, keep on refining your body here. You can travel past the ocean of lightning in a few months or a year. Okay? When you come to the Divinity, find me. I will not give you up, not ever.”

Little White sobbed. Lu Li made up his mind and rushed toward the towering mountain in the distance.

Being indecisive when a decision was needed could lead to more troubles. Lu Li could not bother himself with more. In the Divinity, he had to face more challenges.

Stepping onto the towering mountain, Lu Li did not feel any pressure. He could climb up easily. He charged forward with no step and finally, looked back when he was about to take the final step.

“Eh…”

This look almost made him weak in his knees and fall down. He saw Little White rushing over boldly in a white blur and in an instant, Little White had crossed the ocean of lightning and reached the foot of the towering mountain.

But black smoke billowed from that tiny body of Little White. Little White had turned into a piece of charcoal. Little White remained on the path, still. Whether Little White would survive was uncertain!
