However, Yang Guang’s request was a little special. When the stonecutter heard it, he was a little stunned. Then, he reminded Yang Guang, “Actually, there’s no need for that. I just need to cut your stone from a few angles.”

“It’s fine. I want to remove all the covers of the stone. Just do your work. I will pay you,” Yang Guang said seriously.

The sound of the stone-cutting machine was loud, but nobody was affected by it. They crowded together and stared at the stone being cut without blinking.

Soon, a part of the stone was cut off, and water started flowing. People saw the part of the stone that was revealed was dark gray.

Everyone was stunned.

The stonecutter took out a flashlight and shone it on the stone. Only then did people see that it was transparent.

“It’s icy species jadeite again,” someone exclaimed.

“It’s not icy species jadeite. It’s glassy species jadeite.” The stonecutter raised his head and glared at that person. Then, the stonecutter said to Yang Guang, “Congratulations, Mr. Yang. Your stone’s price is increased.”

“Okay. Go on.”

Yang Guang did not take it seriously. No matter it was icy species jadeite or glassy species jadeite, jade could not be compared to emerald.

Besides, Yang Guang knew that inside the stone was a large piece of emerald with a layer of common jade, so there was nothing to be excited about.

Yang Guang looked so calm. Mr. Wan squinted his eyes and carefully looked at Yang Guang, puzzled.

Mr. Wan had been in the jade industry for decades, but he had never seen someone like Yang Guang.

A piece of jade about the size of a volleyball was taken out. People could already see the emerald inside. When lights shone on the jade, everybody was instantly silent.

They saw that inside the transparent jade was a globular emerald emitting a green color.

“Oh my! Is this dust bead?” someone exclaimed.

One person immediately retorted, “A dust bead is usually about the size of an egg. How can it be this big?”

“This is a large dust bead then. It must be worth a lot of money.”

“I don’t know how much it is worth, but it is very valuable for sure.”

Yang Guang turned around to look at the old man who sold him the jade. When Yang Guang saw that the old man was also in shock and almost dropped, Yang Guang quickly smiled and said, “Sir, you now know how valuable this stone is. Do you regret selling it to me?”

“It would be a lie if I say I don’t regret it.”

The old man shook his head, smiled bitterly, and continued, “But business is business. I already sold the stone to you. It’s lucky for you to get such a good emerald. As for what I think, it doesn’t matter.”

“You really have a big heart.”

Yang Guang smiled and handed the bag in his hand to the old man. “According to our agreement, I should give you more money since the stone’s price is increased. There are 100,000 dollars. It’s all yours.”

“This is inappropriate.”

The old man was shocked. Although Yang Guang said so before, the old man did not take his words seriously. Never did the old man expect that Yang Guang would actually do this.

“Just accept it. Now I have this stone. Do you think I will still care about the 100,000 dollars?” Yang Guang laughed.

The old man was stunned for a moment before he nodded. “That’s true.”

Then, the old man took Yang Guang’s bag and looked at him with admiration. “You are a good person.”

“Thank you for your compliment”

Yang Guang chuckled, picked up the emerald, and asked loudly, “I am a tourist and I am not familiar with this place. Can anyone tell me who I should look for if I want to sell this stone?”

After Yang Guang said this, everyone looked at each other and fell silent.

Then, some people started to roll their eyes.

They wanted to get the emerald at a lower price.

When they heard that Yang Guang was a layman, they thought that they could make a huge profit from it.

Hence, someone shouted out, “I’ll pay two million dollars for it.”

Unexpectedly, he was despised by others after he said that.

Many people looked at the person with disdain. Some even said, “Do you think you’re the only smart person here? How dare you offer such a low price?”

“Do you think we are idiots? How come you believe such a large piece of emerald would be sold for two million dollars?”

Everyone started to ridicule the person who made the offer. He immediately blushed and hid in the crowd, not daring to speak.

“Mr. Yang, to be honest, there are many rich people in our market, but nobody can afford to buy this piece of jade. If you believe me, I can introduce a buyer to you, okay?” said the stonecutter.

When Yang Guang heard it, he immediately nodded, “Okay. I am not familiar with this place and I don’t know anyone here. Thank you for helping me out.”

“Wait a moment.”

The stonecutter smiled, turned around, and went to the back. Soon, he took out a square metal box and handed it to Yang Guang, “Put your emerald in the box first. The emerald is too salient. If you take it out like this, you will get yourself killed.”

“You’re very thoughtful. Thank you.”

Yang Guang nodded and took the box.

People took one last look at the emerald, knowing that they might not have the chance to see it again in the future.

After putting the emerald in the box, the stonecutter said to Yang Guang, “I can suspend my work for a while. Mr. Yang, follow me. I’ll take you to meet someone.”

“Okay. Thank you.”

Yang Guang nodded, walked through the crowd, and left with the stonecutter.

Looking at his back, some people were envious, while others were jealous. Each person had different feelings about it.

The stonecutter and Yang Guang left the market through the back door. Then, they got into a car and went away.

On the way, Yang Guang asked, “Who do you want to introduce to me?”

“The biggest jeweler here, Zhu Zhenyu,” said the stonecutter.
