Ever since Luo Shuyan unknowingly found out that Luo Tianyuan had cut ties with Song Wanqing, she lost interest in her father’s love life.

Relationships between men and women were too complicated, and young kids like her simply couldn’t understand.

Eventhough Luo Shuyan had re-emphasised the fact that since she wasn’t money — she didn’t need everyone to like her, Shen Yan still had a strong dislike towards Song Wanqing and Qin Yutong.

Qin Yutong had gotten her family members to send Luo Tianyuan a parcel. Inside the parcel, there was an international branded shaver for Luo Tianyuan, and also a fashionable coat for Luo Shuyan. Qin Yutong finally understood what she wanted in life; she was nearing thirty, based on her looks and talent, it wasn’t difficult for her to find a high-valued man. However, it was almost impossible to find one that was close to her age; most were already married.

She wasn’t someone who was willing to settle for less either. Other than looks, she also cared about how the man made her feel. If it were not for that, she wouldn’t have been able to withstand the pressure of her parents’ countless marriage proposals.

Luo Tianyuan accepted Qin Yutong’s present, but he also paid her for it. Thus, Qin Yutong couldn’t figure out what he meant by that.

Luo Shuyan put on the coat and happily twirled around in it. She’d started taking piano and dance classes recently, and had lost quite a lot of weight due to the exercise. Thus, rather than looking cute, she seemed to be more beautiful.

Shen Qingruo’s expression immediately changed when she heard that. She reprimanded him in a strict tone. “Shen Yan, when has your mother taught you to talk that way? That’s so impolite. Do you know what you mean when you say that? If you don’t, it’s absolutely foolish of you to say that. And if you do know what it means, its insolent and disgraceful for you to use it to describe others!”

Actually, Shen Yan rarely told her son off. Scolding her son was a rare occurrence. Thus, Shen Yan’s expression also changed after being told off; he looked like he had been wrongly scolded, but he didn’t lower his head either.

He didn’t think that he had done anything wrong.
