The call got through quickly, and the receptionist could hear Su Kui softly say, “The document has been delivered. It’s inconvenient for me to go up, so send someone down to collect it. That’s it.”

Then, she ended the call. The woman looked at her in a daze. She was a little confused; what the hell was she doing?

And her call just now…

Could it be what she was thinking?!

While she contemplated, her courage somehow declined, and Su Kui caught her reaction. With her fingers, Su Kui fiddled with her hair that fell down loosely by her ears and calculated the time in her mind.

Her motionless appearance that was cool, calm, and collected attracted the attention of many. The receptionist broke out in a cold sweat after a crowd of people surrounded her as she was overwhelmed by the pressure.

Moreover, there were a number of people who were looking at her with mockery. It made her blush due to embarrassment, and she stammered, “Y-You, why aren’t you leaving?! Even if you stand here the whole day, I still won’t let you go as long as you don’t have an appointment!”

“Oh.” Su Kui raised her eyebrows and gave a noncommittal answer after lightly touching her chin. She threw the document into the woman’s arms. “Okay, you can send the document in my place. But hold it firmly because it’ll be your responsibility if you lose the document!”

The receptionist hurriedly caught the document that was thrown toward her chest. She was confused by Su Kui’s unpredictable actions.

Before she said anything, Su Kui had already left with her back straight. Her heels made a clattering sound as she exited like a triumphant queen.

Ding!

Right then, the elevator doors slowly opened. A big and tall figure hurriedly stepped out, sweeping his long and narrow, cold eyes across the lobby. Finally, his eagle-like sight was fixed on the slender figure that was about to step out of the building’s entrance.

He quickly walked over.
