The two of them remained silent, ignoring Han Guoguo completely.

Everything had happened within a short period of time, but Han Guoguo’s legs felt numb as if she had been standing for a long time. Yet, she had neither the guts to leave nor the desire to stay there.

The feeling of being completely ignored made her blush. The rush of embarrassment pulsed through her. She gritted her teeth and hesitantly said, “Boss, I’m-I’m sorry. I-I didn’t do it on purpose…”

Before she could finish the rest of her sentence, Song Cheng threw her a ferocious sideways glance. His gaze was as sharp as that of a falcon. “Shut up. You’ve done enough. Get out of my sight now!” he gloomily said.

Song Cheng had been in a high-level position for many years. His intense temperament gave people an overwhelming feeling that he was capable of crushing everything. Han Guoguo, who already felt like she had been wronged, was so frightened by him that her tears gushed out of her eyes uncontrollably. “I’m-I’m sorry…”

On Su Kui’s petite, pale face, the corner of her mouth twitched. Should she not be the most miserable one there? Yet, why was Han Guoguo crying so pitifully when she had not even reacted to it?

‘Are all the women in romance novels like this? I see, so all rich male leads are into this sort of thing…’

Those random thoughts spun around in her head for a few short seconds. Before Su Kui could start to ponder if there was anything she could learn from them, she was scooped up and carried to the restroom.

Song Cheng walked swiftly with a cold and solemn expression. Su Kui could not figure out what he was thinking at the moment. However, judging from his expression, Su Kui did not dare to provoke him further.

She could only hold on to his shirt tightly to avoid falling off because of any bumps along the way.

All of a sudden, she screamed in terror.

Her whole body had been thrown in the air, and Su Kui felt her body fall straight down.

She was so frightened that her face became even whiter, taking on a sickly grayish color. Her eyes were filled to the brim with tears. She closed her eyes tightly and waited for the moment that her body would hit the ground.

The expected pain did not come, as she fell onto a soft bed. Her little body sank deeper into it due to the force of gravity.

Su Kui’s mind was in an empty state throughout the whole process. She was completely confused and unable to think of anything.

By the time she came around, Song Cheng’s tall and muscular body was already pressing on her in a half-kneeling position. His body cast a shadow over her.

“What-What are you doing…” Su Kui stammered with her eyes wide open.
