Chapter 26: Eye Candy

In her heart, Ms. Zhou thought, little Tangtang has just learned how to speak, so she can’t pronounce things all that well, but whenever she says Big brother Tingwei’s name, she pronounces it so clearly!

They were definitely fated to be desk mates!

Little did she know, though, that this stemmed from Tangtang’s intense desire to live.

Tangtang, who had just finished peeing, was obviously tired.

Gu Tingwei helped the little kid put on her school bag and then bid farewell to Ms. Zhou. “See you in the afternoon, Teacher. I’ll take Tangtang to look for her Older Brother.”

Ms. Zhou waved at the two of them. “Go on, then. Mr. Mo should be in the lounge. If you can’t find him, head to the reception area and ask for his cell phone number.”

Gu Tingwei nodded his head and then walked out of the door while holding Tangtang’s hand.

When they passed by the lounge, Mo Heng was on his laptop settling work-related matters, while Yu Jiaojiao was searching for a well-lit area to take selfies.

Gu Tingwei put his hand to his forehead in exasperation. Then, after a moment of hesitation, he finally said, “Mom, our class has ended.”

Yu Jiaojiao usually didn’t accompany her son to class.

But today, Yu Jiaojiao had been worried that Gu Tingwei would be angry about the new class arrangement, so she’d insisted on coming, just in case he caused an accident.

Now… she just wanted to see if Gu Tingwei would be able to get along well with Tangtang. Hence, she had deliberately stayed behind.

When she heard Gu Tingwei’s voice, Yu Jiaojiao immediately put down her phone.

When she saw the two children walk over hand in hand, she was practically leaping with joy.

One of them was tall and handsome, while the other was cute and adorable. Standing together, they were a beautiful sight.

Unexpectedly, Gu Tingwei’s eyes were brimming with warmth, and his expression was gentle as he held Tangtang’s tiny hands. His whole person exuded friendliness, which was a rare sight. This was exactly what Yu Jiaojiao had hoped for in vain for so many years.
