Chapter 14 – Where Are You?

Su Jishi sat in front of the computer with a serious expression on her face. Her fingernails painted scarlet danced on the keyboard, knocking out a series of beautiful English sentences.

When the last punctuation mark landed on the screen, she exhaled loudly and clicked the send button. Her whole person finally relaxed.

After graduation, some of her classmates went to mines, some went to the seismological bureau, some did agriculture, some did urban construction, some did environmental protection… and, like her mentor, she helped in writing numerous books and became a research scholar.

From the age of 18 to 28, a full decade had passed, but Su Jishi became more and more confused.

She didn’t know which direction she should take. Whether she should delve deeper into the research field and stay in one place or go all over the great rivers and mountains all her life.

Her inner confusion delayed the completion of her doctoral thesis, so she had to postpone it. She was too fed up in the life she chose, there was no room to relax and think.

Then, an inexplicable opportunity knocked at her door.

Taking the place of her sister? Ah! Never had she foreseen it!

The contract between “Su Jin” and the entertainment company was only over one year left. In the next year, Su Jishi will be active in the entertainment circle as her sister until the contract expires…
