Chapter 9 – Her First Appearance (1)

How many steps does it take to change a person?

“… thank you for asking me. It only takes three steps.”

Su Jishi’s strong aura filled the room with a sense of lush enthusiasm. She strode to the sofa, sat on it and perched up her feet on the table comfortably.

“What are you waiting for? Come here and doll me up!”

Fang Xie did not understand why she suddenly changed her mind, but he knew better than complain. At last! He’d rather have Su Jishi help him with this mess than admit to the public that Su Jin was missing.

Only three people in the whole company knew about this “kidnapping” conspiracy, a secret they would carry to their grave.

One was the boss who gave the order, the other was manager Fang Xie, and lastly was Ashan, the muscular manicurist man who was kicked by Su Jishi and therefore, had suffered nosebleeds.

It was not until now that Su Jishi realized that the muscular, big man was not a bodyguard, but an all-round talent who was also a manicurist, makeup artist and stylist. From the day Su Jinqing made her debut, he was her exclusive stylist, and this time he was also responsible for the task of “bringing life to the old woman”.

“Su…Hello Sister.” said Ashan who upon hearing of Su Jishi’s change of heart, fetched his cosmetics faster than the wind.

The figure of the muscular man stylist was like a mountain, but his gestures were strangely soft and somewhat precise. His name having the word “mountain” depicts why everyone calls him Ashan, which means “The Mountain.”

Ashan’s nostrils were stuffed with hemostatic paper towels, which made him look ridiculous but he couldn’t care, he had a job to do!

He held Su Jishi’s chin in one hand and a brow trimmer in the other and started carefully getting her eyebrows into shape, just like of Su Jinqing’s.

Being twins, they were the spitting image of each other, but their eyebrows differed greatly. Su Jinqing had  curved eyebrows like willow leaf, delicately trimmed to perfection. The peak of her eyebrow falls down artistically at two-thirds of its length, its tail pressed down to create the most popular “innocent” image.

As for Su Jishi, she had a pair of thick eyebrows grown barbarically and was slightly askew in the temples, exuding an intimidating, heroic image.

Ashan carefully shaved off less than one and a half of Su Jishi’s eyebrows, sketched out a new eyebrow shape with a brown eyebrow pencil, and filled it with an eyebrow powder.

And in just less than 10 minutes, Su Jishi did not look as tough as before.

Because Su Jishi often explored in the wild, even if she strongly apply sun protection, she would inevitably get sunburnt, making her darker than Su Jinqing.

Fang Xie  internally groaned. Thankfully, there wasn’t anything that dear Ashan couldn’t do.

Ashan used less than half a bottle of foundation, covering not only her face and neck, but also her exposed skin including her hands and feet.

Finally, Ashan painted a beauty spot under the corner of her eye. “Look! You look just like her!” Fang Xie was finally ecstatic at the result, he looked at Su Jishi with glimmer in his eyes.

As long as Su Jishi does not speak, one couldn’t possibly see the difference between the two sisters.

This time, Su Jin was chosen as the tourism promotion ambassador for a city on the west coast of the United States. After landing, she would be attending an official signing ceremony.

For this event, Ashan specially prepared a black condole belt dress to outline her shape. The silk dress was as smooth as water and gently hugged her body, it’s color made to emphasize her beautiful doll-like eyes.

However, no one expected that Su Jishi would not be able to zip up her skirt at all.

Su Jishi was definitely not fat. Her weight is thin for ordinary people, but she often had rigorous activities, so she was a bit lean and muscular.

The zipper of the evening dress was stuck on her waist so she pulled harder and harder until —

“*POP!* ,and the zipper was pulled out accidentally, creating a rip behind the dress…This woman was certainly not weak!

The zipper shot up in the air, following a parabolic path and hitting Ashan’s troubled nose in an instance.

A muffled groan could be heard, followed by the Fang Xie’s disappointed slap to his forehead.

Su Jishi: “….”

Seeing that the plane was about to land, Fang Xie in utter panic, began to circle the plane mindlessly! There was no second gown available on the plane to take out as a replacement. Can’t Su Jishi just wear her tattered and dusty field outfit to meet fans?

However, the zipper of the only gown was pulled out quite horribly. Although Ashan could sew it with a needle and thread, the sewing marks would be quite obvious from behind… What a disaster it would be!

What will be the reporters say? Fang Xie hyperventilated, sincerely hoping that he was just dreaming.

When everyone was starting to lose hope, Su Jishi stared at Fang Xie’s suit and suddenly spoke.

“Fang Xie,” she called in a somber voice, “Take off your clothes!”
