Chapter 2: Replacing the Engagement

Xu Lan quickly hid her gun under the blanket and looked up to see the Xu Family’s butler, Uncle Luo, standing at the door.

He was 50 years old and had a kind heart.

Seeing Xu Lan curled up under the blanket, he could not help but ask worriedly, “Are you alright?”

Xu Lan sat up lazily on the bed without even looking up.
