Very fast paced but still detailed
MC is actually good and sticks to his goals, which is not offending anyone, be strong as fast as possible and ACTUALLY CULTIVATES IN A LOW MANNER not like other MC’s that “uh oh there’s a tournament coming up i guess i gotta go high profile now haha”
Side characters are good, although they’re not perfect, they don’t feel lifeless like a doll.
Story is also good overall.
In conclusion, 4/5 rating personally. Good and fun novel to read.

Although we all like this novel because how Han Jue does what he does, fact it, there has been no actual ‘action’ for hundreds of chapters. There is no actual suspense in the battles. The worldbuilding is absolutely amazing, but the fights have absolutely no intensity in them. You might think I don’t like this kind of novel, but I already have my fair share of generic cultivation novels. Although this is miles better than generic cultivation novels, it gets repetitive, even if there are new characters introduced to the story. Satisfying, but gets slightly repetitive and boring later on.
Good read. An absolute blessing if you want to run away from generic cultivation novels. Some people would probably drop this in the mid to late 300s chapter though.
Chill. This is very chill so far. Just MC avoiding danger/everything and simply cultivating for immortality, in which stage he will enjoy himself more, he says. Very cool, It’s very relax read.
Summary:
OP MC stays low-key in a mediocre sect, the light novel is very comedic and satisfying.

The chapters before the immortal world was introduced were godlike, you had fun interactions, crazy cultivation, cool characters, character development, slight world building, what else do you want?!
Then the immortal world happened, and the author started suffering from the “please let me tell you how much i like and know about journey to the west/investiture of the gods and watch how i degrade my novel as a fanfic of them!” disease.
fun fact: the author from the novel “I’m actually a cultivation bigshot” did the same.
After the immortal world is introduced you still get some fun interactions between the myriad lore dumps from those two novels, cultivation becomes slower becuse the author adds more levels to each realm (even with the mc having that chaos mega op body bloodline dao), no interesting new characters are introduced, the mc fully isolates himself from the world, becomes a puppet and then we get this faceslapping cliche plot twist of “heh, everything you did was planned from the start”, and that’s the point where i, someone with self respect, stop wasting my time reading.
This is a very Relaxing Novel!

Finally… one novel and MC that sticks to their core tenets. Not just the “low-profile but helpless since the sect is weak so I will just show-off” iffy on women but that’s great since he has a goal before lusting over others.

This is a fun Xianxia romcom. Not a typical face-slapping Chinese Xianxia with moron mc and overeating crowds there to witness his dominance.

hopefully this novel doesn’t drop in quality like the rest…
It’s a little boring at first, but picks up after 30 or so chapters. Still, this is all basically just a very long prologue, I suspect it’ll take at least another 100 chapters before MC reaches a level where he feels confident enough to roam the world. And that is assuming the time skips gradually become longer and longer; otherwise, at this pace, it’ll take another 450 chapters for him to reach 1000 years of age.
I recommend this to anyone that likes low profile cultivators. He seems cowardly at times but he Does defend his sect and is quite loyal to it. He doesn’t get involved unless something will destroy the sect, otherwise he lets others handle things themselves. If this isn’t the kind of novel you like reading, don’t try. You’ll only get angry at his choices- even if you would make the same in his position.
Mc wants to cultivate 24/7, avoid conflict if possible. Similar to sign in novels.
I’ve read the raw chapter. It goes around 400 to 500 chapters. Villain keeps on peeping on mc and even if he upgrades a higher being keeps on peeping. He lives in seclusion but only wins through luck.
Honestly so far so good. I’m about 60+ chapters in and well it’s a very refreshing read. Not bad.

My opinions: I think the book is great, chill and is different from stereotypical cultivation novel Mc’s. However I hope he would have been less of a coward since he needs some battle experience. I bet that his downfall would be him having almost 0 battle experience.

This novel was dropped by the author I think as no updates after chapter 604at MTL. This may be because of a racist comments by author. He made that comments 2/3chapters earlier before stopping updates altogether. No update for more than 3 months.

Now this is offensive as well as idiotic.
