The zombie moved aside and escaped the hit, but the man without letting the momentum waste away continued the spear’s movement, spun it to the side, and smashed it to the zombie’s side face.

The man stepped back and tried to hit the zombie again, but a  new zombie grabbed his arm. He yanked his hand, and the zombie fell off and immediately started to scramble back to its feet.

“Hab!”

The man stooped down and tackled the zombie’s lower body. He fell over the zombie and tried to pin it down, but the zombie wouldn’t stay still, and its body was slippery.

After some struggle, the man managed to pin it down with his knee over its chest and punched it on the head.

Puck!

The punch messed the zombie up real bad its eyes rolled in. To be sure that the zombie was dead, he followed with another blow.

Quazzik!

This blow cracked the bone structure of its face. Then another punch.

Fuss!

This punch caved all of the zombie’s facial components into its skull.

Now he was sure the zombie was dead.

He rolled around and got up.

Another zombie ran into the body of the dead zombie and fell. As it struggled to huff back up, the man hurried toward it and ran his foot at its head like a player firing a shot. The zombie’s head flew off and bounced around for a while before it stopped. When it had stopped, the man walked to it and stomped it to a puddle.

The man turned around and found the last zombie and the wolf struggling. The zombie was on top of the now weak wolf. But even weak, it still fought back as much as it could.

“Chit!”

The man grabbed his wooden spear and hurried to the zombie. When it got to it, he hooked its neck down with his left foot, and using the strength of his whole body pushed the spear through the zombie’s eyes into its head.

Quazzik!

When the wooden spear penetrated the eye, the zombie struggled for a while and then drooped.

“Woo!”

The wolf got injured from the bites. It limped to its feet and slowly sat back down, whining.

The man patted the wolf’s head then searched its body for injury. He found two bites on the wolf—one on the leg, and another on the belly.

Suddenly, a new message entered the phone.

The summon is injured.

Since he was a little tired from the long battle, he pressed “Y” to execute a reverse summon and then took a break there.

After a while, he finished repairing the sharp end of the spear. All of that took about twenty minutes. He got up and summoned the wolf. The wolf appeared, fully healed of its injuries. He gently and playfully stroked its head, and then continued on his quest.

However, he soon arrived at a dead end.

He looked closely to see if anything was hidden, but unfortunately, he didn’t see anything like that.

He returned to the fifth intersection. At the crossroad, he chose a path that he had not yet walked.

Along this path, he came to a small room.

He stopped for a moment to see if there were enemies around, but there was none. All he could find was a small box sitting at the center of the room.

Thinking that it might be a trap, the man carefully approached the box and struck it with his spear.

Nothing happened.

He tugged at the box a few more times, and still, there was no reaction from anywhere in the room.

Now he was very sure it wasn’t a trap. Only then, he moved to the box and opened it. Inside it was a small slate the size of a cell phone.

He reached his hand to take the slate, but the slate glowed brightly then disappeared when he touched it.

“Uh?”

He was confused.
