“Sherlock is at your house?”

Arsene sighed: “I caused him harm.”

“I originally wanted him to investigate something else… To facilitate communication, I brought him to my home. And my convenient father-in-law–now the Duke of Vandome heard about it and solemnly invited our clever detective Hermes for a meeting.

–Since then, he never came out. If I hadn’t gone in to confirm he’s still breathing, just trapped in sleep… I would’ve thought my father killed him. And then I understood what happened–he was taken to the Dream Realm.”

Arsene frowned: “And after that, his delegated collector–you know who–received a letter from the Queen of Avalon. This letter carries significant weight for the Iris Flower, even the Duke of Vandome must handle it cautiously. So Sherlock returned to his body and personally wrote the letter, then fell back into sleep.”

“So,” the Son of the Moon in white robes raised an eyebrow, “we can actually go straight to the Duke of Vandome Mansion and seize him out?”

“Though I’m not sure what secret method he’s using to confine Sherlock’s soul. But if I can force him to hand over this secret or release Sherlock… that’s possible, right?”

Aiwass said leisurely: “As long as he doesn’t dare to stop me.”

Arsene thought helplessly.

And Aiwass just casually spoke, showing no intention of hiding his identity: “I also believe in your determination to save Sherlock. Yet, after roughly guessing my identity, you didn’t bring me home–so I reckon, you have something you want to investigate, correct?”

Arsene said frankly: “But thanks to the Duke of Vandome, I could leave the organization, not needing to complete the tasks they assigned, and avoid being hunted for ‘defection.’ Thus, I am grateful to my father-in-law.

“But from another perspective, the Duke of Vandome knew my parents. I think there might be some secrets in their deaths… Being taken as a son-in-law by the Duke might also be related to this. I recently found some important intel… And what I wanted Sherlock to investigate is precisely this matter.
