Suddenly, a golden light flashed before Aleister, accompanied by a deep voice: “This is an ancient coin from the Helasal Empire era, minted six hundred years ago. If it’s not enough, I can look elsewhere…”

“Ah, it will suffice.”

Saying so, Aleister placed the gold coin on the lady’s forehead and gently tapped it.

Originally, rituals are a basic rule of equivalent exchange, trading things of the Material Realm for those of the Dream Realm. Through Ritual Studies, it is possible to achieve the miracle of exchanging less for more… and this miracle is backed by the Serpent Father, one of the Pillar Gods.

With the Serpent Father’s endorsement, this theoretically impossible “shortcut” becomes an official “technique.”

Suddenly, Aleister switched to the Parthian language and briefly transformed into the male figure of Aiwass.

The first half of the Resurrection Ritual required a feminine body to guide the soul, and the second half required a masculine body to dispel the adverse effects of the Path of Dusk on the body.
