Right after, he leaped off the city walls.

In midair, Asimov slowly floated towards the distance, turned his head to look at Rein, pointed a finger, and then made a throat-slitting gesture.

Meaning, he would definitely come back for Rein!

Rein squinted, looked down at the ground outside the city wall which was over seventy meters below; if he jumped down directly, he might not necessarily die, but he would most likely sustain severe injuries.
