Lin Ci put down her dishcloth and squatted down to talk to Lin Morui. “Ruirui, we are flexible about everything, but you’re so young, you can’t run around on your own. “Weitian, are you busy? I hope I’m not bothering you.” Shen Yixian asked cautiously.

Ji Weitian knew her foster parents were always worried about bothering her at work. She put down the files and replied, “It’s fine, I’m not at work. Don’t worry Dad.”

“OK. It’s like this. Your mom and I were at the store… I don’t know how to explain it, but we found a kid about Yaoyao’s age. He supposedly ran away from home. His parents must be so worried. But we don’t know where he lives… what should we do?”

Shen Yixian was a simple man. He was worried and anxious over this, it took him a while to explain the whole thing.

Ji Weitian didn’t hesitate at all in her answer. “Take him to the police station. Ask them to help find his parents. If something happened to him while he’s in your care, you wouldn’t even know what to say.”

If they ran into unreasonable parents like Qin Nanyu, like she did at the airport, who insisted that she was abducting children, it’d be awful.
