Chapter 49: An Unexpected Situation

Ye Juemo didn’t look at Yan Xiruo. He picked up the handmade suit on the bed and left the room.

Yan Xiruo looked at his tall and cold back and had a slightly stunned expression.

Did he mean that he was going to leave this room to her?

Actually… he wasn’t that intolerable!

She shook her head and warned herself not to think about him anymore. Both of them were just passersby in each other’s lives. Even if they had some unspeakable ambiguous relationship, it was going to stop now!

Yan Xiruo picked up her jeans and ruined T-shirt from the carpet and complained about Lu Jingchen and Ye Juemo in her heart.

They had torn her clothes into such a state. How was she going to leave tomorrow?

Lu Jingchen had brought Chu Keren to the cruise event. She wasn’t willing to think about the bad implication. After all, he had a wife and she had a husband. He must have brought here to talk about business, right?

At the entrance of the banquet hall at the fourth floor, Yan Xiruo was stopped by a bodyguard. “Miss, you have to be in a gown to attend the banquet tonight.”

“I’m just going in to find someone.”

“No, these are the rules.”

Yan Xiruo glanced at the clothes on her body. She didn’t know where to get a gown from right now. Although Grandpa had prepared one for her, it was left in Lu Jingchen’s room.

“Ok, I won’t go in. However, can I trouble you to call out a woman named Chu Keren?”

“Sorry. My duty is to guard the entrance.”

Yan Xiruo bit her lips. When she turned around, the bodyguard kindly reminded her, “Miss, there’s a supplier on the third floor that specializes in evening gowns and makeup. You can go and take a look.”

Yan Xiruo didn’t expect that there would be a place on the cruise that provides evening gowns.

Yan Xiruo ran to the third floor and saw a few apparel stores providing last-minute luxury goods. She was slightly stunned.

She had to pay for the gown, right?
