In the freshly inaugurated large experimental base, Qin Muye observed the slow fusion of the three great treasures of the GROX Empire within Wang Wei’s body. Since leaving the Endless Abyss, the fusion process had indeed resumed, and he was now attempting to uncover the principle behind it.

It was clear that the fusion process required a certain signal or force field. Inside the Endless Abyss, the Spirit Monsters had also tried to simulate the cosmic environment to find the reason for the halted fusion, but they had still been unable to restore it.

“The technology is very advanced–at least much higher than my current information technology.”

Qin Muye didn’t consider it a shame to be outdone in skills. After all, everything in the Endless Abyss relied on him, and being able to come this far alone was already quite an achievement. He was just worried that after the emergence of Cosmic Will, the GROX Empire’s warships might directly breach world barriers and after killing Cosmic Will, incidentally flatten the entire Shining Universe server.

The likelihood wasn’t great, but it was there.

It was most likely that the GROX Empire was truly destroyed, but that did not mean all of them perished.

The fact that the old signal was still operating in the Shining Universe server was enough to show that the GROX Empire still had some kind of device operational within it.

Moreover, this device must certainly be related to Star Gods, Cosmic Will, and the Three Great Treasures; otherwise, it would not likely cause such a resonance.

Cosmic Will allowed Wang Wei to take the Three Great Treasures to escape its trap, and these treasures and a certain device must be the fallback plan against Cosmic Will–otherwise, it wouldn’t be such a coincidence.

Such an extensive GROX Empire brain trust must have anticipated this situation.

Other treasure boxes also saw a boost in their content. For example, Silver Treasure Boxes of the same rank now contained items from Rank 8 servers instead of Rank 6, like in the beginning at the Magic Continent.

As Rank increased, the quality of treasure chests received also continued to rise, of course… except for the wooden treasure chests. Black Iron chests could still contain Resources, but wooden chests, being the lowest level chest, even with a Heroic Level prefix, would only contain useless stuff.
