Guo Li transmigrated to a parallel world where everyone possessed an island.
Right from the start, he owed the bank three million dollars of start-up capital loan.
In order to pay off the debt, he had to work all sorts of jobs. Thankfully, he activated the Most Powerful Fishing System, which allowed him to receive all kinds of rewards when he successfully caught fish. The rewards were diverse, ranging from houses, cars, money, all kinds of resources needed to develop an island, to mysterious powers which surpassed human limits.
The possibilities were limitless.
With a fishing rod from the start, nothing was impossible for Guo Li.
Haven’t read it yet, but I would like to think that he pulls out the rewards along with fish.
Imagine just chilling and fishing when you pull out a tuna with a house firmly strapped to it’s breaking back, suffocating due to the immense weight (and perhaps in need of a bit of water).
Only when you miraculously get the fish onto dry land does the distinct sound of an engine revving slither its path to your ears, coming through the fishes drying throat .
The fishes mouth elongates, splitting and tearing from the mass of the escaping motor mobile. The blood and grime of the fishes innards cannot hide the beauty of this luxurious car.
It would be hard to consider if that was good day or not, especially when you cant take the house along with you. At least a cool car accompanied the truama
Chapter 21, he fished a female player… Night comes, chapter 25… They fucked.
Yey
any ln where a female magically get injected in. i’m out
TLDR: I had a lot of fun reading this novel. By having fun I mean ripping the hell out of this novel because of how ridiculous it is.
Pros:
-I actually quite like the MC. Dude clearly would have been fine without a cheat should he been thrown into that situation. I like that because it shows that they aren’t some weakling who can’t do anything without a golden finger carrying them the whole time.(nvm the MC sucks ass)
-Translation isn’t that bad
-It’s an entertaining read(at least for the first 10-15 chapters
-It has fishing in it
-I had fun ripping it apart in the comments of most chapters.
Cons:
-The whole process of him being thrown into it was kinda vague lmao
-This isn’t really a con but the MC has a loot of survival knowledge and it kind of makes sense but it never explains where he got it.
-System is meh. It gradually turns into a wish fulfillment style system that helps him get everything he wants(including a women). It is getting ridiculous to the point I even question why he has to even move to get what he wants(oh wait he doesn’t it’s “fishing” things. not that fishing doesn’t take skill).
-the monkey makes zero sense. Intelligence does not equate to knowing human knowledge. It literally can understand his words(it’s different if he can communicate using other means), can freaking mine, knows what flint is, and what the MC meant when he pointed at the forest and said get me branches like wut?
-He isn’t thaaat intelligent tho(could have made a lot smarter moves but he isn’t really dumb) Edit: Nvm he is getting dumber and dumber as the novel progresses besides the very few moments where he makes a 100 IQ play(aka he only made 1 smart move so far)
-There is plot holes almost everywhere. Ignores half of what they say sometimes and no actual logic is present in this novel except when it temporarily needs to..
-It gradually turned to shit as if they wanted us to hate the novel as much as possible.
